Not everything has to be "news" to be posted on here. This story isn't listed as news, it's listed as an article. Interviews aren't "news" either but they certainly have a place on this site. I think too many people are getting confused what the real purpose of n4g is supposed to be.

Where do you get your numbers? The original Xbox sold 25 million, and the 360 is currently just under 12 million. You're right that numbers-wise it is already half the install base in under 2 years.

I agree that this is no big deal, mainly because I just looked at IGN and it shows the 5th of November for both the 360 and PS3. Europe is the only thing that's different, the 2nd compared to the 9th, but I find it hard to believe - it's probably just a typo.

Mass Effect is a definite must-buy, and I'm about 90% sure I'm getting Assassin's Creed. I was all on-board for Rock Band, but now that they announced the World Tour isn't online, I'm thinking I probably won't buy it. It is cheaper than the real thing. It says that right in the title. How you missed that is beyond me. If you actually read it, it says it costs $34.99.
I think it is overhyped, personal opinion, but it sold over a million copies anyways. It's definitely considered a hit and is often brought up as one of the awesome exclusives the 360 has over the PS3. Personally, I played it and didn't understand what all the fuss was about, and I'm INCREDIBLY surprised at how well it sold. To each their own, I suppose.
Whatever... Contributors are anal and dumb sometimes, but back on topic - does anyone think these features matter? Would these additions make it better than the 360 version or worth the extra year wait to play it on the PS3? I'm curious to see how well this sells considering a lot of PS3 owners might just think it's a 360 hand-me-down. Why should we care about a year-old game that wasn't that great to begin with?

That's just dumb. The whole point was making a band with my friends and rocking out across the globe. Quick play is weak. I'm thinking I might just wait to see if they patch it before I buy it. What a shame...

All fanboys are bad. I said that in my post, and I firmly believe it. I singled out Sony fanboys only because there seems to be a lot more of them than other fanboys on this site, and because they are the ones that have been following me around, being pricks, and sending me PM's about how much I suck. I've posted negative news for the Wii and 360, and I have yet to get PM's from any of their fanboys. Not that it doesn't happen, but it hasn't happened to ME... yet.
