PS2's ? Kinda surprised by this since didnt they say that they stopped manufacturing them like in 2009 ?

Originaly I saw the news here on n4g but heres some articles I found from google.

Though I think nintendo already said that the pipes didnt bother them and that they didnt take any actions towards the game/developer ?
Dinorun is one of my personal favourites
SCP:CB is awesome, its one of the few games that actually make me scared.
No, what I think he meant is that....
5th gen (lets say PS1) introduced 3D graphics and made them actualy practical but there were a plenty of games with short draw distance/heavy fog (Ape escape comes to my mind first) but also games that were pretty impressive in terms of 3D graphics (Spyro series)
However when we transistioned to 6th gen (PS2) very few games had any "fog" and open world games became much more impressive.
With 7t...
I think that they purposely made every second game in the franchise "different"
Like RF1 was good with amazing destruction, second one improved many things (shooting action became mad fun and story telling improved greatly as well as an improved MP on PS2 over the first one) but they went atleast two steps backwards in destruction and map design.
Guerilla was pretty damn good (even though I dont like TPS games much) but after a while I still found t...
I really agree with you though Im sure some people will disagree, anything higher than 720p isnt needed in a phone and 1080p for tablets.
I think I have seen a 2k tablet already, why ?
Is it just me or does Cell feel a bit... off ?
And awkward.
But the game already looks many times better than Battle of Z so thats a plus.
Yeah, the only thing that I was semi happy about was that I could get the quake collection for 14,95€ seeing how quake games are still pretty expensive.
Now simply buying Q3 would cost more than the collection in sale.
I was never a huge crash fan although I enjoy the original 3. The last good crash that I can name is twinsanity but I have never played through that one (though I probably will at some point).
The newest crash was playable but even then not fun enough get me start playing it from the begining because some weird glitch just wouldnt let me continue foward.
Honestly, one of the reasons I think Crash and Spyro became such big hits was that they both featured shin...
I can get that and even understand downgrades which are done to bring the games max settings more playable for more mid-high end PCs but thats what pisses me off in Far Cry 3s case.
My PC which has a mid range GTX 560ti GPU could run FC3 on (mostly) ultra with very acceptable performance (for SP) but my GPU was already in the aging generation at that point. The downgrade wasnt even needed.
People should still be fairly happy that Ubisoft left WDs advanced gra...
I dont get why people are now this upset even though it has already been revealed that they left all the E3 bells and whistles into the game files and they can even be turned on. In Far Cry 3s case the downgrade was about as bad as in WDs but it was impossible to turn any of that fancy vegetation on.
Well yeah but the standard fault percentage for electronic equipment is around 13-15%, PS3 fell into that category, Xbox 360 had over 30%
I think we can blame some of these PS4 HW failures for the "sabotage"/protest in the factory which was reported around PS4s launch but Im still sure "real problems" are atill waiting, which is partly why I havent bought a PS4 yet.
Didnt read the article yet but based on the headline and preview I feel that the writer of this article is way too entitled.
Last gen wasnt even fully "HD gen" because many games later on were sub 720p in resolution. Many generations before 7th and 8th had only minor resolution increases when new systems came. The transistions between 6th -> 7th and 7th -> 8th are probably the biggest in terms of the resolution upgrade.
I feel that this genera...
You really cant say anything about the reliability of this generation yet as some things only come up as time goes on.
I really want to say that PS1 was the most fault free system I have ever played (never freezed and mine is still rocking, only the disc spinning sound is slightly different) but even then I would be wrong as many of the release day models had some parts that broke later on.
Every single playstation release day console has had some sort of har...
Needs proper "random person comes and picks the rock up/throws it" simulation or I wont be buying it.
@abzdiine
Not entirely true, I saw a limited batch of XB1s here in finland for 460€... with Kinect... and a game... (should also be mentioned that the cheapest PS4 deal I have seen was for 444€)
Though those XB1s were english only until microsoft would officialy support scandinavian languages.
Though I really disliked BC2
I almost agree with this article. 6th gen had the best software (good games easily over weighted the bad ones) and the machine itself was relativly affordable and worked as a functional DVD player (where PS1 was only a CD player and couldnt play any videos) but still, the only reason why I would rate PS1 higher is because the hardware was considerably more reliable.
Both of my PS2's are slowly dying (one semi early fat model, one later slim model) and have minor problems ...
