After watching that video I would rather roll him into a Katamari.

Because thats what I instantly started thinking about when I saw it.

i dont think so, considering now online play is behind a paywall on the PS4 too.

The next PvZ Garden Warfare for example, has made the offline play much better than in the previous game. I think online only will become more common but doesnt overtake singleplayer games.

Im surprised how much I use it myself. When I first heard about it I thought that I wouldnt use it. Then I played Bloodborne and realized how much more usefull it is.

The only thing that I find odd is that PS4 doesnt go to suspend when I have timed the "shutdown" from the power management settings. It just turns off. It would be a perfect feature if I could time the suspend feature like that.

Pretty cool though my setup doesnt really allow any practical use for it (my PC and PS4 are both connected to my main PC monitor setup) unless this app allows direct WIFI connection between PS4 and my laptop in which case, I could use it to connect to the TV (which is more of a casual setup with my older machines).

Lol, watch this become hottest news today/night unless flagged.

Im not gonna go argue about the game though, dont have an opinion because havent played it.

Already bought it some weeks ago and played through it (NG+ run ongoing). Its neat and clearly has some outdated aspects but I honestly think its for the most part better looking game than DS1 and runs better with less major FPS drops.

Also, Valley of Defilement >>>> Blightown any time.

Shrine of Storm is also pretty cool place as well as the second area of Tower of Latria.

Probably. I mean, after seeing how stocked people are about the third one, it has made me somewhat curious but since its a continuation to the story and I have no chances of playing through the originals, theres no way Im going to get into this one.

But it sure is neat for people that like the series to get a sequel to their favourite games. I sure as hell would like to see a sequel to my favourite game/series...

You have double the fun when theres also poison on the floor (Chalice Dungeons). I think that my first time winning against BSB, I didnt really understand/realize that it was poison building up and I could use antidote. Just brute forced through and died to poisoning before I could use antidote (because I didnt have any in my quick select)

But seriously, the fight relies very heavily on dodging and parrying but you always have that small chance of failure when BSB does that f...

Yes, it also has some of their previous games (flOw and the flower game + 4 or 6 2d games and themes + concept art. Its neat).

It could have worked out but I didnt expect it. Just wanted to make sure. Its not like Im missing out on new content or anything.

So if I have a collectors edition for PS3, I asume I cant get Journey in any way on the PS4 unless I rebuy it?

I dont know so Im asking if anyone knows.

3866d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, I think it can surpass PS1 in sales (was it like, 100-110 million?) but I feel its going to fall little short from PS2s +150 million. Reason being that PS2s popularity was pretty much rocketed by the DVD playing feature (and bluray was probably PS3s saving grace). We ended up having 2 in separate places partly because of that (and the slim model was pretty cheap at that time too).

PS4 doesnt have any that new or mass appeal features like the previous consoles, its just ...

I would swap The One Reborn with Blood Starved Beast. Even though I know the boss inside out, Im still always on my toes when fighting against it. Especially in the chalice dungeons you have to be much more aware because the arena is completely open most of the time.

If I hadnt seen my friend play agaisnt Shadow of Yharnam I wouldnt believe it is that hard of a boss fight. I have only ever once died in it on NG+ but my friend had major problems with it.

Still...

@Irishguy95

PS2 emulation works fine if you have a semi high clockrate CPU at around 3GHz or you have alot of power per one core (Intel CPUs or some newer AMD ones are okay too)

PS4's whole architecture revolves around multitasking and its CPU cores alone are somewhat weak (low clockrate AMD ones), it would be insanely hard to get PS2 games to emulate properly on the PS4.

TBH previously the PCSX2 devs were saying that it would be impossib...

You can partly blame the time they kept their conference at. Europe is Sonys territory, yet the conference was from 4AM to 6AM in GMT+2. No way that many people are going to watch it live.

I did and it was neat, but it was hard for me (for a couple of reasons) to watch through the conferences.

Good read and essentially just proves points that have been made.

"whereas the second one (with Cortex falling into the ship) was meant to be the game's ending"

Though that wouldnt have fit in with the story of the sequels ;)

But its neat, sad that Sony was so stubborn about 3D graphics at the time that they couldnt even put one neat animation into the game.
