I love how they pin the problems on the "PS3 being hacked" this game was a glitchfest on all systems the day it was released. It was a money grab - an unfinished, untested P.O.S. money grab. And yeah it is still a glitchfest on the systems you didn't fix the problems on duh. Nobody cares about MW2 - bury it in your backyard and play better games.

I completetly agree with this. It is about the only shooter that wasn't "just a remake of some old shooter" and it did things that no other shooters have done (squad buffs, command chain, 256 players, etc.). Glad at least 1 site got it right.
acrobatics sucks until you get to level 9....at which time you can use a skill point to fly :) you can still glide with acrobatics before that though.
Why is is it NOT even close to being good enough? Have you played it and compared to other pay to play MMOs?
I don't like MMOs and I have tried a ton. The ones I've liked the best were LOTRO and WAR.

Also the game is not ready for release in January unfortunately. It still has freezing issues and some UI issues. I will gladly pay $15.00 a month for this game when it is ready. It is that good.
RDR is a good choice - it was a great game.
I think I might have had Starcraft II, BFBC2 and GT5 ahead of it but that's probably because I prefer multiplayer and although RDR MP was fun for awhile it lacked any staying power.
...the load times aren't really that bad lol certainly don't warrant throwing money at that's for sure.
Yes a lot of "realistic racers" will be played like playing air guitar...Kinect features instantly make this a lie.

haven't had a problem yet and I've hosted plenty of private rooms for friends via the lounge. This stuff really isn't that complex lol

the reasoning of "better vehicle damage" to decide which is the better online experience is silly.
btw for me dedicated servers trump both those offering but I could definitely see how they are important to people and at least make sense.
really confused by the online edge being given to Forza 3 .... because of vehicle damage?

That alone should make GT5 the clear winner. I played for hours last night with people coming and going from the lobby without ever once having to see a host migration or lag or anything.
Played all night (way too late lol) without any online issues - it ran so smooth and flawless all night. What a blast.
No scope + Slight of Hand Pro.

I loved how the review was written. Not sure I entirely agree - but it is hard to disagree. I think ultimately the game is probably 8 - 8.5 for me personally but I know how passionate Derek about racing sims. Keep going DPL - you have style!
