I could name a lot of games better looking then the amazing 600p sub HD MW2. I love MW2 MP - I'm on every night but that game is not one of the top 5 from a year that had so many great games. Resident Evil 5 and Killzone 2 are both head and shoulders above MW2 graphically.
Than the MW2 final release. The beta has been really nice. Can't wait for retail!
to convince me to get both GOW3 and DI. Both are a lot of fun - I just wanted to keep going when they both ended. Is one better then the other? meh - who cares....they are both good and if you throw 60 bucks at either or both I think it would be a good thing.

First of all the community aspects of the 360 work very well and are pretty realized. However; the PS3 community does benefit from MANY more games that support and utilize dedicated servers (i.e. Warhawk, SOCOM, Resistance 1 and 2, Killzone 2, MAG etc.) So in that regard - if big games and / or dedicated servers are your thing the PS3 kicks the 360's rump.

I don't quit and I have no problems with people being punished for quitting. However; Naughty Dog could implement somethings to fix this problem (maybe in the next Uncharted) such as allowing players to join a game already in session - a lot of games allow this or having AI take over players that aren't moving after X number of minutes or that have dropped ala L4D.
The SP is a write off if you compare it to Uncharted 2. But the MP is still crack - and it is enhanced crack....ok back to more MW2 MP.

I've played Uncharted 2 (great game - so polished - a great extension of the Uncharted franchise).

Multiplatform Games Never work on the PSN Day 1. Anyone who doesn't know that is a PS3 n00b. That's just the way it is - wait a day or two. First party titles typically work great - but the Multiplats are always lazy half-arsed untested garbage (except for maybe 1 or 2 like Burnout Paradise)....unfortunately.

Garbage was harsh lol but really I have other games I'd rather play. I'm going to get MW2 because a lot of my friends will be playing it - and despite it being a game that I'm not interested in - friends always make gaming more fun.
I just don't like COD games. They are generic military shooters - they can't decide if they are arcady or realistic - they are kind of in the middle and won't pick a side. I think the people bashing on MAG either saw video or played maybe 1 match or something. The game has depth that MW2 can't touch - so much depth the beta really could have benefited from a tutorial. The FRAGO / Squad Leader / Platoon Leader / OIC system fostered teamwork more than any game going. The graphics were good but not off the chart (i.e. Resistance 2 good).
