"2013 will have to be a big year for Sony and Vita. They cannot afford for the system to be forgotten. It also needs real 3rd party commitment. Not rushed projects like Call of Duty or watered down existing ips."
Amen.
*looks forward to Feb. 25 Destination Playstation Even LEAKS (retail event) and E3*
OMG! That looks amazing.. Please T.T
WHY Bethesday WHY!??
Man, seriously, I'd totally appreciate an expansive WRPG (or even JRPG) made for the VITA.
Sure it may be a bit more stimulating than watching a movie, reading a book or listening to music.. but it's just ridiculous to blame video games as the main reason for the issue.
T.T
Oh yes please! It's definitely possible as long as they tone down the graphics:
I won't mind even if it had PSP/PSX graphics as long as it has:
-solid framerates
-no screen tearing
-acceptable load times
.. more importantly "1:1 gameplay translation" (All the mechanics and dialogue are in there)
Please Bethesday, take a risk >.<
Yes! I've been waiting for that :D
Still using my PSP as an alarm clock occasionally :)
Ah.. electronics entertainment! :)
Really love this hobby. Something to look forward to everytime :D
Like it or not the Apple fanbase might feel like it's the second coming.. It's still gonna sell pretty well.
Then again a lot of them seem to be smarting up since the release of the iPad Mini.
I'm quite interested as well. I just wish that after the next few Apple mobile product cycles, they'd have built in mini/micro HDMI out no longer requiring you to buy a TV out accessory or another stand alone product (Mac TV?).
Then again, 3-5 years from now, maybe wireless phone streaming to compatible TVs might become mainstream.
It would also be a nice gesture to customers if they'd allow great native support for PS3/360 (or upcoming) console s...
Fair enough.
Souls from FromSoftware you mean?
I'd love that too.
yes! thx!
Game seems pretty cute! Is there a lot of voice acting like P4G?
..and here's wishing for a VITAlicious Destination Playstation on Feb 25-28:

I hope Sony announces something mind blowing for the VITA.
"I keep hearing it has an actual campaign."
OMG! Source please!?
I was afraid it was another Unit 13 (no story) or CoDBOD (subpar campaign) because of the "Mercenary" naming but please, if you can find any decent source, I'd be more than glad to gobble the info and hold on to it.
Or.. I could just upgrade from my 5870 to a GTX 780! For cheaper! xD
j/k.. I know it's an alternative to console buyers that don't want much fiddling with the sytem.
Goodluck Steam Box. Some more competition is fun. :D
After a year they can. Mobile tech has been improving ever so faster that includes the ARM chips in the VITA. (almost identical to the iPad 3's internals but with non disclosed clock speeds)
Every year, generally you get better hardware for basically the same price. Case and point: tablet/smarphone industry.
The VITA is no different in that sense.
The industry has changed. Sony has to adapt.
TL;DR - demanding a slight pri...
Shh.. I got this. You also do too. Just reference the PSP 1000 to 2000.
Price: $ 199.99
1. Lighter.
2. Slightly thinner.
3. Slight increase in battery life.
4. Better and brighter screen (improved Q.C. Google PS VITA Yellow Tints or PS VITA Vertical Lines).
5. Better rear and front facing cameras (at least 3.2 MP at the back and 1.2 at the front)
6. 1 GB ram (like the PSP 200...
The only thing that differentiates video games from other medias that show violence is inter-active simulated violence.
Likely to be much more stimulating in certain aspects compared to reading and watching (for most people) w/c are more passive.
I'm not saying that inter-activity makes it significantly more influential than the other media but I don't think it's fair to simply discredit the premise.
Let more and better researcher...
Is there a significant difference between "will" and "might"?
A significant chunk of the article features fall to "might" (release in 2013).
Just saying.
Can I play it in transportations offline and gain exp and items with the VITA version?
