I'll give you resolution and framerates cuz it's mostly true about the ipad 4.. but FFS; 3D geometry (character models and details) look like ASS even on the almighty iPad 4.
Not to mention just having simple effects, mostly blob shadows (except Dead Trigger 2, it has real time shadows) and occluded areas! Have fun with rat maze areas.
I think we'll see some real comparable overall visual impact before the 720 and PS4 life cycle ends the way the ...

The VITA with complete Google Play access would have undercut the whole ph/ablet market. (May or may not undermine PSV/PSN/PSP Mini games because of how cheap Android games are-- debatable)
But, Sony was pretty stubborn. Likely because it will eat against their less than stellar (compared to the competition) tablets and PMP markets.
I played the PS3 demo.. the framerates weren't stable..
I just wish I can use my PS3 controller when I try the PC version.. I've been scared of DS3Tool messing up my USB ports on my main system :(

Just don't forget that DISTANCE from the display is an important factor. So is INDIVIDUAL VISUAL ACUITY.

Mind you PC's today can do x6 1080p smooth depending on your PC setup (likely having SLI/Xfire configurations).

It can't afford to get burried this year as it will only make it harder to garner 3rd party support if prospector devs see the sales results after MH and Pokemon come in.

Emphasis on "Could". Title seems a little pretentious.
The only way the title defends itself is the VITA 1-upping itself. Doing that is nice but much less of an impact compared to one upping the competition. I really want better 3rd party support on my system.
Let's just hope there'd be great leaks during Feb's Destination Playstation and then much better VITA reveals on E3.

Yeah... pretty much using my PSP 3000 with CFW as an alarm clock.
If it's anything like the Nexus 7 that changed the market for tablet entry products.. Yeah!

The MS console market share today is much more favorable than it was last gen.. I daresay around half the current console core market.
