No, I agree, the graphics do look pants. The gun fire coming out of the guns in one shoot is poor, very poor.
I will still be picking this game up, but the graphic's need some enhancements.
I dont know, I have some doubt about IGN, esp since they rating Pro Evo soccer so highly (weren't they the highest reviewers of the game) and then when you play the game you realise that IGN is advertised throughout the game. For me IGN lost alot of credability there.

With games such as CoD5, Resistance 2 (yes you hated the first one, but there is no denying that the 2nd WILL set new benchmarks's in terms of online play), GTA4, Fallout 3 and MSG4 all out this year I seriously doubt GoW2 will come anyway near the clear Game of the year winner is was for its first installment - if at all it is even nominated.

I am a PS3 person, but will not slate this game outright.
360 owners must remember that when the 1st Gears game came out there was absolutely NOTHING around that even rivaled it. Not because gears was so great, but because the other games were so bad.
This time around GoW2 is up against a shed loads of top games and just wont stand up as well against these.
But it all honesty, it does look decent.
