Can I just ask this, if and when MS do release their next console, do they expect to not have a disk drive in there, or do you think that they will just go for DD for all their games.
Exactly what I thought, it is not possible, sooner or later MS will have to have BLU-RAY.

There is a full game coming out, but that will more than likely be in 2009. This is a HD version of tracks from older games, plus online play and a whole host of other new features. This will be awesome I reckon. Can't wait!

As one example, just go onto Amazon.com and check teh bestsellers section. You will find that over 50% of that is Nintendo software. PS2, PS3 and PSP are a large percent of teh remaing 50%, because MS only has the XBOX360, and software sales for that is falling fast.

I have been quite amazed by some reviews by this mag of the last couple of months. Didn't it give Halo 3 a 10, it might be a awesome game, but it is not 10.

Get your facts right, fella. M$ influence in HD-DVD was huge, mainly because the codecs used in HD-DVD was M$'s own propriatry software, thus if HD-DVD did take off then M$ would have cashed in on loads of royalty's.

Here are some reasons why downloads wont happen, not yet anyway.
* I dont want to wait 8 hours or more to get a film of the same quality as a 1080p blu-ray disk.
* Do you really think that 99% of people know how to download these films, and then transfer them to the big T.V.?
* downloading music is a different kettle of fish, download music, put on player and go out running or what...
