I watch Bloomberg every morning and they just said Nintendo beat earnings estimates.
From the jump I have thought this game was average based on videos I saw. Then I have read the very detailed reviews that were released confirming my fears of it being boring. I had modest excitement for the game, but I still plan on getting the game as I am a big multiplayer gamer and fan of Bungie for their Halo work.
I say all that to say, the media is working to bring this game down. I honestly wonder why, if the game is boring fine, but the reviews have been pretty harsh...
Exactly, as much as I like Titanfall I don't want MSFT to spend the money to keep it exclusive. Titanfall 1 was enough, it will be synonymous with XBOX going forward even though it will be multiplat, similar to Final Fantasy or MGS for playstation.
Only 6 players, looks like a lot of the ps4 fans that frequent this site won't be buying a last gen game like Destiny.
Let this sink in for a second Xbox has over 50 million XBL subscriptions at an average of $45 per 12 months, let's multiply that by 5 years to have a soft estimation. That is 11.25 Billion dollars that Sony didn't make with ps3. I hope you don't believe sony started charging to improve their psn service, they just saw the money MSFT was making. Also 360 sold approximately 90 million more games than ps3 and most were 1st party. Let's assume MSFT made $11 per game, that's...
Who needs a ps4 when i can buy this game cheaper for PC and it will look and play better. I'll be sure to have the superior version.
What you witnessed was XB1 restructuring and building up 1st party studios, hence why XB1 has more games in development than ever before. Now Sony is restructuring and losing key staff at the start of this gen because they were still focusing on last gen. There is a reason KZ- sequel, infamous-sequel, uncharted-sequel, and tlou - re released in less than 1 year are all scheduled as year 1 ps4 games. Not to mention the games currently being developed are getting delayed or canned. Sony is re...
I hope you realize is all about money. For example the watch dogs developer says XB1 will have the more dynamic environment, then a contract is signed with ubisoftn and there is no more talk of the XB1 version. Titanfall was only a timed exclusive, then a contract was signed and then it was only available on MSFT platforms. AC has exclusive ps4 content because of a contract, so did MGS, and The Division will have exclusive XB1 content because of a contract. All this stuff has to do with, th...
Destiny has looked boring from the jump, but i never commented because for some reason people put Titanfall and Destiny up against each other. Bungie is an amazingly talented studio who created my all time favorite series, but this game looks like a bunch of roaming. I'm still going to get it, but i don't think it's going to be as fantastic as some expect. I hope to be wrong though, I would like to enjoy this game with friends.
Ps4 fans stop the damage control, this is not another routine departure. A majority of the leadership for their top two games are leaving. The worst part is that most are leaving for lateral positions and they aren't leaving kind words for Sony or ND. This is not good news for the studio.
Bring me both I love gaming and I love watching TV. I'm already looking forward to that Halo project, Forward Unto Dawn was fantastic. I think Gears could be a pretty good show as well. Keep adding value to the XB1.
I guess I'm the only one that read that crap that was stated in the article.
"The Xbox One thus far has had very few must-play exclusives other than Titanfall and 160;Dead Rising 3, and both of those titles have failed to raise the excitement of titles like inFamous: Second Son, and the recently announced Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us PS4 port."
Lol has he looked at the sales, Titanfall is still going strong...
Yea i can see the tide turning in UK, no more stock issues for ps4 and people are starting to realize ps4 is mainly hype. Titanfall still doing its job showing serious legs.
OUCH Infamous dropped to 11. For one of their established games I figured it would be performing a lot better, especially considering what I heard here on n4g.
MSFT is bringing the GAMES!!! They are working on a ton of projects right now, putting that 1 BILLION dollars to use. E3 is gonna be awesome.
It's a slow time of the year and they aren't launching in China until July and the other countries until September, makes perfect sense to cut down production. A majority of people on n4g are so linear people look at the Sony picture. XB1 is selling really well, just not as much as the global ps4. Still plenty of time and honestly I don't mind MSFT playing catch up because they are cranking out games, updates, and trying to move gaming forward.
@GaryColeman have y...
1. Ryse
2. Killzone single player
3. Infamous SS
Graphics alone Ryse looks the best.
@lukas you spew so much crap on this site I usually laugh at you because you feel like you are a n4g celebrity. "Overall all though The Order has the best graphics I've seen." Lol you haven't seen anything, they basically showed a 3 minute movie. By your logic Halo 5 has the best graphics I have seen and Gears well hold the crown in 2 years ...
This is fantastic news for XB1 owners, they know full well this statement would go viral and they reiterated it one month away from E3. This tells me that they must have figured it out and will be able to make it work. They moved away from cloud talk for months when fans started calling BS, but to make it at this point in time is telling me something.
It will be such a glorious day at E3 if cloud computing, which is already used on a smaller scale for Titanfall and Forza, is ...
Fantastic news, they are working on 3 months of updates simultaneously. Keep up the great support MSFT.
I hope you realize that 20 Billion is more than Sony is worth. It looks like XBOX is under a secure umbrella, no leaks. With Phil Spencer in charge it will only get better.
NO, playstation needs the resources generated from sony's other businesses. Nintendo is the only true gaming company as they survive as a stand alone company.
