I understand the question was asked for ps4, but these new advertising and exclusive content deals are going to the extreme. XB1 went from having a more dynamic environment, "developers words", to no mention of the XB1 version for months. The gen is already shaping up to be the battle for 3rd party and multiplat games. I think there are definitely some neat features in the works. MSFT had been working hard building up internal studios and 3rd party relationships. I enthusiastically look forward to future of XB1 gaming, they have been trending upwards for months. I can't wait for PAX and E3.

To be honest this article should be the reverse ps4 is simply a more powerful ps3. You know playstation gaming is in a bad state when you get to comparing the number of indie developers. Sony has you guys brainwashed into backwards thinking, it's now about the indie games and not big AAA titles. It's amazing, they say jump, you guys say how high. If you guys only put the pieces together you would see they are only concerned about indies because of their budget. A quick glance to the top sellers of 2014 show Titanfall at #6 (the highest selling game) and infamous at 10 ( 2nd highest). This is why i loved Gears so much, great story and great characters. This series can go so many other directions. I really like the E - day aspect, but a whole new band of brothers would be great, with a splash of the originals. I doubt they show anything at E3, but it would be awesome if they did.

All MSFT needs to worry about is making the XB1 the best system it can be and things will sort itself out over 5-7 years. I promise you I'm not hating, but there has got to be more to this game than graphics. Since its reveal it has been graphics graphics graphics. Why not either stay quiet or talk about great graphics and great gameplay. Even the trailer was 2 minutes 50 seconds cut scenes and 10 seconds gameplay. I'm not saying you have to release gameplay footage, but at least talk about it.
