If those people think the PS3 is a failure then they must think the Xbox One is a failure as well since it's selling at a slower rate then the PS3 did within the same time frame. Sony's lowest selling console is selling at a faster than Microsoft's latest console. That just goes to shows how dominant the PlayStation brand is worldwide.
You have some reports saying the Xbox One version is worse and others saying the PS4 version is worse so both versions are equal in my eyes.
With that being said, just get the version on the console you prefer and have fun. The End. Problem solved.
Of course, I would have loved for these underpowered consoles to be more powerful as having more power helps but the point still stands that they don't need to be more powerful which is the point I was making. You're correlating my statement as if I'm saying I don't want there to be a big leap and I don't want very powerful consoles which is not what I said. All I was saying is that they don't have to or don't need to be very powerful. Needs and wants are 2 differe...

This list shows which console has more diversity.
And yes, it's old but if I had an updated list it would only prove my point and further my point even more since a lot of PS4 exclusives have been announced since it was made. PlayStation has the most diversity and always has.
I could tell that the game was not at a constant 60 when I played it on PS4. Treyarch really sucks at optimizing. Advanced Warfare looks the same, if not better than BO3 and it has a solid performance on both consoles with no dynamic resolution (at least on PS4) and AW is using the same engine that BO3 is using.
I'm not gonna brag about my piece of crap being better than someone elses so I don't even care that the PS4 version is better. I do care that these developers...
To put it simply, buy whichever system most of your friends are on and/or whichever system has more games that you want to play.
And if you can't decide, just do this!

This game looks really good on the 360 and the 360 is a 10 year old console. I'm always amazed at how much juice developers can squeeze out of consoles. This is why I tell people that consoles don't necessarily have to be cutting edge in terms of power. Consoles have optimization on their side. You won't see a PC with 512mb of ram running this game but the 360 is running this game.
@MrSec84
Well you're right now that you put it like that. I thought that VR parts were more expensive but I guess I overestimated things. I obviously don't know as much about PSVR or VR as much as you do so thanks for the info.
I'm going to have to take the L on his this one lol. My mistake. I was wrong. You were right.
Sadly, Sony is going to have to take a loss on the hardware and make it back in software in order for this thing to succeed. I'm expecting PSVR to be no more than $300 since Yoshida said it would not be priced to make a profit.

We will see though.
Haha trust me, I know very well what you mean. I made a comment similar to yours not too long ago

Even though we most likely might not see it at PSX this year, don't forget that Sucker Punch is also working on something new as well.
But yea Sony London has multiple teams like a lot of...
Sony Bend hasn't worked on any AAA console games in a while so I can't wait to see what Sony Bend is working on.
Only less than a month to go. The wait shouldn't be too long now.
@PheonixUp
You should know that those JRPGS and remasters you listed are only on PlayStation so they don't count. They only count when they're on Xbox.
You know the rules.
As someone who has played the original Tomb Raider games on the PS1 I can tell you that the orginal Tomb Raider games had a different formula than the newer Tomb Raider games. The original Tomb Raider was more puzzle orientated and less action orientated with less action set pieces. The modern Tomb Raider is less puzzle orientated and more action orientated with more action set pieces. Tomb Raider pretty much copied Uncharted's formula and it's original formula has been changed and mo...
I don't mind the costume or cosmetic DLC but CC2 has taken it a step further. Boruto and Sarada are pre-order exclusives and they announced that the season pass will have 4 playable characters. So now they're locking and leaving characters out of the full game and making them DLC. I'm gonna wait like 2 - 3 weeks and get this game for $40 on amazon. I'm not gonna pay the same price for this and get less content than other people who are paying $60 for this game.
Wow.. that's pretty nice of Microsoft. Kinda reminds me of the time Sony gave me $10.00 on PSN.
Yes. I'm so jealous that I'll be playing Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider on my PS4 next year. I get to play 2 great games that people constantly compare and argue about right on my PS4. Oh... and you can only play both on PS4
Man.. I'm so jealous!! http://cheezburger.com/3232...
You're right. Sales don't necessarily mean a product is better than another but sales can help make it better and make it more appealing.
More sales = more support. More support = more games. Developers aren't going to support a console that isn't selling well and the console with the most support usually ends up with the most games so sales do matter.
I've honestly never used backwards compatibility on the PS2 and I rarely used it on the PS3. I literally only used it twice to play Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Burnout Dominator on the fat PS3 but that's about it. Backwards compatibility is a cool feature to have but it's not a feature I'd use much. I'd use it maybe 2 or 3 times and then I'd forget about it. I really don't think backwards is as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The only reason people hype it u...
I just hope Sony brings that crystal PS4 controller to the states. I'm waiting very patiently..
I know that if I say what I want to say I'll unfairly be marked for trolling so I'll just keep it short. I really respect the fact that you're not being a hypocrite.
Anyways, congrats to Microsoft. I'm glad both console are doing well. Competition is good for the industry.
