This has really been one weird generation.. These devs just don't wanna let last gen go. I swear if it wasn't for the fact that I had my PS5 gifted to me by my then gf at that time I wouldn't be gaming on current gen. I would have just stuck with the PS4 Pro and just waited it out for the slim. I have a crap ton of current gen games and literally every PS5 game I have besides R&C Rift Apart and Demon Souls are on the PS4 🤦♂️
So you believe that Microsoft isn't worried about Sony buying these studios (their direct competitor) but they're worried about Tencent and Emberacer??

Not only do I see it dragging out this gen further but I also see last gen getting supported a lot longer because of this. We're gonna be seeing lots of cross gen games for a minimum of at least 2 more years..
I was expecting the supply contrstrains to last a year at max as I felt 2021 would be the year where lockdowns and restrictions were pretty much lifted and things started operating normally again. I'm kinda surprised that this is still going on and we're still talking about this.. Hell, everyone might be dealing with this in 2023 as well lol
Why are you surprised? You should know that PlayStation games get held to absurdly higher and ridiculous standards vs other publishers games. Reviewers will literally look for any excuse to knock scores down. Take Horizon Forbidden West for instance, it's criminal that, that game is not at least one point above an 89 which is what the first one is at when it pretty much improves upon everything the 1st game did whike at the same time no one seems to care that other games are releasing wit...
I hope Microsoft gets pie in their face and their acquisition gets rejected but I know it won't. The Activision acquisition will most likely go through. I mean the Bethesda acquisition got cleared right? EVERY branch of U.S. government is so corrupt including the FTC that it's insane and they definitely don't give a damn about gaming consumers.

Yup they're forming relationships with new teams that are being built from the ground up by funding them and giving new studios a chance to show what they can do.. This is the way it should be done imo instead of money hatting and buying 3rd party publishers and developers in a desperate attempt to bolster lackluster 1st party support and make franchises that were on multiple platforms exclusive 🤦♂️
Seriously, Sony has been making a lot of bad decisions with Jim Ryan at the helm. Everything from increased game prices, porting exclusives to PC, downsizing Japan Studio and not making the Dualsense compatible with the PS4 so you have to buy more controllers is raising some pretty big red flags
It probably had something to do with the licensing agreements. MLB might have wanted it on multiple platforms and wouldn't let Sony renew their contract unless they agreed to those terms. Other than that I see no possible reason as to why it would be coming to other platforms
I'm getting sick and tired of Amazon's late deliveries in general.. They sure love to raise Prime subscriptions prices but yet the service is actually getting worse! It's ridiculous that they're telling me I'm getting the game next Tuesday, the day I go back to work ofc.. when I've had the game pre-ordered for MONTHS now.
Guess it's time to go to my local mom and pop shop tommorow to see if they have it and cancel my order like I did with TLOU 2....

This is why I want Microsoft to do good next gen and I'm kinda glad they're making acquisitions. I've been telling people for a while now that since Sony has been dominating this gen they have been getting more and more arrogant and cocky as this gen has been going on and moves like this prove it. Street Fighter 5 was the final nail in the coffin for me as far as fighting games are concerned. It is 1 of the sole reasons I still haven't bought DBZ fighters and will no longer be buying fighting games in general on day one. Forget trying to unlock new characters with fight money The amount of grinding you have to do just to unlock stages alone is ridiculos enough
Not only is Amazon not selling PS4 games but Amazon isn't selling PS4's either. I was informed by a friend who shops on Amazon all the time that in the last month or 2 PS4's are only being sold by 3rd party vendors at jacked up prices.

The PS4 is almost 5 years old and according to Sony, PS4 sales are on the decline and down compared to last year yet it is still outselling a new console the Switch (a console that is a little over a year old) month after month. That is straight up embarrassing honestly...
