Isn't it obvious that this game wasn't exclusive? It's a timed exclusive. Did it really take people 7 months to figure this out? lol
I will guarantee you that Crash will be shown next year. There's no reason they would keep on teasing it if it wasn't making a return. Keep your hopes up and be patient. I have a feeling Sony is going to blow us away at next years E3.
That conference was terrible and didn't live up to the hype. There's no denying that but at the same time Sony did have FOUR conferences this year which were all good except for 1 so I think we should cut them a little bit of slack.
Definitely the highlight of the show. God, March can't come soon enough.

I'm 21 as well. The first game I ever played was Kirby's Dream Land 3 on the SNES (which my older brother owned at the time when he was a kid) and then I got my first ever console on Christmas when I was 3 which was the PS1 and since then I haven't looked back. And yes I feel old writing these comments even though I'm young lol

I've seen people relate this or compare this to Nintendo's virtual console and I've seen people say "well how come it's not a big deal when Nintendo does it but it's a big deal when Sony does it?" ignoring the fact that you can play Wii games on the Wii U for free. That guy in the article you linked hasn't and doesn't work for Sony so how did Sony promise people backwards compatibility when this info came from a source that doesn't even work for them? Also, nowhere in that article does it state that backwards compatibility would be coming to PS4. It only states that 1080p rendering for SELECT PS2 titles would be coming to the PS4 and would be playable locally which is accurate to what's going on now.

But those remasters/remakes on the Xbox One had work done to them and internal code was changed for them. These PS2 games are essentially the exact same game with no work done to them internally. They're just games that were ported to an emulator, internal game code is exactly the same as it was on the PS2.

I'm assuming Sony wouldn't be able to implement emulation for every game due to licensing issues. Same reason every 360 game Isn't backward compatible on the Xbox One and must get approved. I'm sure Sony doesn't want to put themselves at risk of developers and publishers suing them but still, Sony could at the very least give people the option to use their PS2 discs for whatever PS2 titles that are in the store that they might own psychically like Microsoft is doing instea...

I agree. PGS was like Sony's Haloween gift to their fans filled with Jolly Ranchers, Skittles, etc and PSX will be like a Christmas present from Sony to their fans, filled with a bunch of delicious Candy Canes of all types of different flavors lol
Some might accuse me of engaging in console wars but I don't look at it like that. I only address and correct misinformation. There's a difference between engaging in console wars and addressing and correcting misinformation. I tend to stay away from console wars. I think they're stupid and pointless for people to participate in.
