Sony Said PS3 backward compatibility wouldn't come to the PS4. They never said PS1 and PS2 backward compatibility wouldn't.
Don't put them in your games then. It's as simple as that.
Next year is when the PS4 will hit it's stride. Next year is looking great.

I could use a bubble lol but yeah these articles are ridiculous. People are forgetting that the PS4 is 23 - 0 worldwide. As you mentioned, the PS4 is dominating worldwide so even if Microsoft was to hypothetically outsell the PS4 in the U.S. it still wouldn't have a big effect on the global sales and Microsoft most likely wouldn't win in the U.S. by that much anyway, if they were in the lead. People seem to think the U.S. is all that matters though ...

Sony is dominating the console market. They very well have the chance to take shots at Microsoft like they used to. I wouldn't mind it if if they made a game from the Savage Starlight comic in The Last of Us. The concept was very interesting and I remember reading it thinking that it'd be a good game had Naughty Dog tried to make it into a game.

Physical copies of games tend to have better and more deals than physical copies of games on consoles. Digital copies of games on consoles needs to get better in terms of deals and even pricing if we do go all digital in the future, especially since you don't have to pay retailer fees, distribution fees, packaging and manufacturing fees, etc, like you do with physical copies of games.
