Knowing MS business model they're buying it to have their own "Home". They will integrate SL to XBL and force users to pay for gold to access the virtual world. Since Thousands of people are litterally hooked to SL and would be willing to pay for it it's a sure source of revenue for MS, nothing more.
Or, less plausible second option, MS has actually developped its own vitrual world/social network based on XBL and wants to buy SL in order to dismantle it and ...
Yeah and Monkey is the TV adaptation of Journey to the West, as are the manga/anime Dragon Ball and Saiyuki (if only even more loosely).
@Dance
You're wrong in Europe PS3 is outselling 360, in the UK both consoles are quite even but in the rest of Europe (France, Italy, Spain, central Europe, Germany, and even Scandinavia) PS3 is now largely ahead.
I agree with everything said above as great as Castlevania is, it does not compare to these games, fact :

This guy has recorded the environments of the game and when you look how detailed they are there's no denying Uncharted is above and beyond everything else :

You're delusional if you think MS is the first one to use the Z-Cam other compnies have used it to play games and navigate a menu, and all that at 60fps.
Take for example Gesturetek which is licencing the software MS is currently using with Kinect, They've bee...
They're right with one thing Ninja Theory does actually motion caputres movements but also faces expression at the same time, ND only track movements (and dialogues). But it doesn't necessarily mean what they do is better than what ND did in Uncharted2 by applying faces expressions in postproduction. I think the latter actually gives developper more freedom because they are not bound by the actor's play and can adapt the face expression at will.
Sometimes in Hea...
No it's not PS3 fanboys disagreeing it's 360 fanboys because you said the game has awsome action scenes while in their narrow mindset it's merely a point and click game.
Exactly since 360 has only sold 695K more than PS3 as of today in the US, it means that among those two regions PS3 has actually sold 170K more and you still have to add Europe to the mix which is largely a PS market.
This also the reason why VGC has little to no credibility when they widen the gap between 360 and PS3 week after week.
Even then you have to relalize that it is a really slow and unpractical remote, have you seen the E3 présentation of the guy navigating the menu, it took him at least 20 seconds to enter the menu and to get to a preselected movie, just imagine how much more time it will take if you have dozens of video to browse from.
And knowing how Kinect has definitely gestures recognition problems there's still the possibility for the device to pick up unintentional gestures : l...
Yes there was a party game for the Eyetoy called Eyetoy Play 1, 2 and 3 :

I don't know about the future of the Wii but I want to warn everyone that bought a move, make sure not to let it sit right next to a charger, especially the sphere. I did that yesterday and apparently the electromagnetic field messed up with the led and now it doesn't want to turn on anymore (so much for my 50 bucks).
If you have problems with archery just hold the bow horizontally (like a crossbow) and aim looking at the arrow trail rather than the crossair. And if it's still off, maybe you have to recalibrate your controller (in the XMB settings)
@Bathyj
Well to be honest I've never had to play a game to know if it's gonna be good. Just watching some videos gives me a clear insight of what to expect but again I've been gaming for more than 25 years.
I had my doubts on Enslaved prior to playing the demo and they've just been confirmed. As for the story if you've seen the late 70's japanese TV series called Saiyuki (not the anime, even if it's also loosely based on the novels...
I agree with Too Pawned, I wasn't impressed by the demo.
There are definitely too many elements from other games, although I wouldn't call it an Uncharted 1 ripoff, the title was the first to pop up in my head while I was playing the demo especially because of similar character movements.
Speeking of platforming I find it very dull and too forgiving, all you have to do is press repeadly jump while moving the analogue stick, you can't fall from led...
@Paintsville
Just align the launches and you will see PS3 has been outselling 360 year after year (in million) :
First months on the market : 360/1.17 PS3/1.23
Year 1 : 360/6.76 PS3/7.62
Year 2 : 360/7.88 PS3/9.72
Year 3 : 360/11.01 PS3/12.61
Year 4 : 360/10.23 PS3/ 6.49 (ATM)
Year 5 : 360/ 6.28 (ATM)
But keep in mind VGC is apparently overtracking 360 and undertracking PS3 since december last year...
MS : Nobody needs Blu-ray de futurez is digital download ... here have some HD-DVD, and games on DVD-9 instead.
MS : Nobody needs motion control, it's just a fad, our install base is the hardcore and we make games for hardcore gamers... here have some revolutionnary new way of playing games called Eyeto... uuuh Kinect.
MS : Nobody needs 3D, 3D is for theater not for living room and having to wear those glasses is so stuuuupid. Many, many years from now wh...
Well he obviously knows what he's talking about, even Sony with the Eyetoy knew that you had to have a camera running at least at 60 fps to accurately track fast motion. And don't forget PrimeSens motion camera was tracking at 60fps too before MS downgraded it to cut corners.
This news put a smile on my face.

@Zireno
Believe me just by seing both I can easily tell Castlevania is a much better game than Enslaved.
