You can still play the creations of other people and, probably, the dev itself. You don't need to mess with the game's tools if you don't want to...
If you think that's normal I feel for you. You must have horrible work conditions (or are terrible boss).
Replay any of the Mass Effects on harder difficulties and come back here saying that you can just blast things away and do not pay attention to your team's composition...
By adjusting the game's difficulty you can basically play it as you see fit.
I'd rather an Outbreak remake... I mean, the game could go on forever: single player through scenarios or multiplayer, maps as DLC, new characters, new missions, new modes... :( Someday, maybe.
Well, to be totally unbiased, Uncharted HAS consistently been awarded Game of the Year Awards... So, odds are people expect it to follow a certain standard of quality...?
This is the best game for me. I know, I know, nostalgia, rose tinted glasses, whatever... Nevertheless, I'm still waiting for a hero as sarcastic as Cloud (I love his tirades with Barret); a heroine as selfless as Aerith; a girl (also a heroine!) as tough and sensitive as Tifa; a cat as annoyingly awesome as Cait Sith (yes, he grew on me); a lion-thingy as smart and polite as Red XIII; a angry pilot as charismatic as Cid; a loner as observant as Vincent; a ninja-girl as proud and sincere ...
You'll also buy Uncharted Collection? :D
Now THIS demo is impressive. The one that she was all stabby-stab and psychotic was kind of meh... This captures the essence of old and new Tomb Raider alike.
Waiting for PC release.
Alan Wake is pretty good, although it lacked some polish. I'm pretty sure it was rushed by MS.
As far as Quantum Break goes, it seems to be Xbox One's The Order. Seems good, is graphically impressive, but will probably be polarizing.
To be fair, the Extended Cut of Mass Effect 3 basically nullifies most of the indoctrination theory...
"Stella was better" comments incoming.
If I recall correctly, Lara killed her first man at 35 years old in Tomb Raider I, and it was retconned to be very emotional in the remake (Anniversary).
Tomb Raider II was heavily criticized for having too much human enemies, to which the next titles toned down considerably, to the point of whole segments having no weapons at all: Lara subdue guards with chloroform in TR Chronicles, instead of breaking their necks. She also has no guns in her adventures as a 17 old young lad...
This game is literally what made me get up and buy a PS4 ASAP.
Their CEO is still going to hell, though.
Hmmm... Aerith is the last Cetra and the only one that can cast Holy, that's why she was killed. Tifa is just a regular girl, plus the affection rates being higher for Barret or Yuffie would also result in their deaths?
Aerith will and should die. She is the only one that can save the world after death from the Lifestream. Tifa needs to be alive in order to piece and reveal Cloud's memories later on. Barret and Yuffie dying would have little plot relevance whatsoever....
I hope it's because they are updating the character's moves and abilities rather than copying them again for the 4th time in a row.
So what that Stella was ready to face Noctis? Being ready to face someone does not exactly qualify you as badass nor strong. Aerith challenged Sephiroth alone, yet I don't see many topics about how badass and strong she is compared to Tifa and Yuffie, for an example.

AWESOME! - said no one in the west, ever.
I liked the new Tomb Raider, but her mass murder, although brutal, was mostly justified in the first game. As far as I can tell from this one (not much at all), this isn't the case here... I thought they would focus more on puzzles, mythological creatures and exploration on this one. Especially the mythological enemies, since the last game introduced them into the world.
Gotta love Ali.
