If Konami failed to say "no" the first time Kojima said he needed more time and money, I'm pretty sure its their fault.
The first time the game went over budget they had to sit down, hold the game back and learn what could have been done from there, even, sadly, if cancelling the game. Have you ever heard of StarCraft: Ghost? That game had epic budget and got cancelled because no more could've been spent on it. Sad? Yes. Understandable? Completely.
...
I care. If you don't care that once good companies and creative producers are getting the shaft over generic gaming, you sir are the reason why gaming mostly sucks nowadays with an ever so rare decent game released by smaller or first-party studios.
Mostly meh games. But good to know anyways.
Even Capcom had the decency of making Sony release SFV on PC at the same time as the PS4 version.
Tales of Destiny Director's Cut, pleeeeeeeease!
They are already getting it wrong by maintaining the same movesets to almost all of the roster. Maybe they should delay it for another year, then.
This game is taking so longo for God knows why. Gameplay looks mostly the same, graphics have improved but most of the cast still has the same moveset they had since Ninja Storm 2. It's almost like a remaster with some extras...
The story can be convoluted, but IMO Jodie and her development manages to grip most of the players that like a character-driven experience. After all, it's not so much about what Jodie goes through, but who Jodie is and who she becomes. I think that most people don't get that.
I hate the cliffhanger since my ending was pretty much perfect. I just dismiss it and consider it as Jodie hallucinating. :) Let's just leave this game as it is, please.
"I don't like linear adventures. Even though the game has solid frame rate, has incredible graphics, high artistic value, top notch performances and a great main character, almost zero bugs, unlike Fallout and Skyrim, I just... Don't like linear adventure games, ok? Leave me alone. 4/10."
There. No need to click on the review. I just gave a 100% accurate summary.
Small difference, but very noticeable on movement segments.
SJWs are mildly annoying, just very vocal. I blame the company for giving in. Hell, imagine if GTA had given into FOX News and the churches everywhere that everyday a teen commits theft, hiers a hooker and commits murder because of the game...
Weak company. Just sell your franchises to someone with some balls to make something different with them and also keep true to their vision. Yes, i'm still sour with Fatal Frame.
F Tecmo.
Tecmo is a joke. They butchered Fatal Frame (and I don't mean solely because of censorship) and are proceeding to do the same with other franchises...
Terrible company.
Morality is subjective. Plus... What does any of this has to do with the game? N4G moderation is really dropping the ball here. Off topic, AF.
Nathan is never portrayed as fragile nor sensitive. Hell, even Elena and Chloe are pretty hard asses: "Just point and shoot, right?"; "I never asked to be rescued". They all can be compassionate about teammates and allies, but they are not above killing others... Though what impressed, is Lara's overtly violent ways. She has several take down animations that would put MK and Rambo to shame.
Ellie actually averts this. Her gameplay encourages avoiding, ...
Seems overall better than Halo, IMO. Downloading it now.
"The Croft of old is a ruthless killer who takes what she wants when she wants it and if you don’t like her well that’s your goddamn problem pal."
Hmm. No? The Croft of old hardly had human enemies and when she had she did not made any elaborate killing rather than shooting them in the face for shooting her first.
The new games have stealth and elaborate kills (drowning people, stabbing skulls from above, spraying their bodies up close with autos), ...
Pretty much. I guess those million dollars spent with Tomb Raider could have been more useful securing at least a small exclusivity deal with Activision.
Mario is a mass murderer. Even more twisted if you take into account that reference in which the blocks he destroys are also living "people".
Lara Croft is a mass murderer (the new one).
Shepard is a mass murderer.
Wander from Shadow of the Colossus.
Link can also be considered this.
Actually, I'm having some trouble thinking of characters that are NOT mass murderers.
*SPOILERS*
Actually... No. Cloud is pretty selfish, arrogant and cynical until he finally realizes that he was a clone. After that he becomes crazy and depressed and then he becomes a pretty regular nice guy with nice speeches and a happy-go-luck attitude.
Tifa is actually the shy and introverted girl. She just happens to wear the most revealing outfit. Aerith is outgoing and blunt, she just happens to use the staff.
