If you're a company that distributes car engines...and assuming there's only 2 car developers out in the world, you develop a brand new engine for 1 company that's completely different than the other company's and more powerful, but hard to maintain cause it's a new breed.

360 is a piece of unreliable hardware.
I enjoy it just like everyone else, I admit it's 'enjoyable'...but it is nowhere near as reliable as my Launch PS2 that is still working after 10 long years. Fu#k all the haters, keep replacing your 360s and flushing money down the drain...

I got a bootleg dvd the other night, and my regular Samsung DVD player that ive only had ofr about 3 years couldn't play it. I tried it on my ps2 and it worked...it is now my new default DVD player and it's been 10 years. I love Sony.

It's just so pretty...and the fighting is intense.
I had a copy of Guilty Gear for dreamcast...it was easily one of the best fighting games I had ever played. It was so fast paced and very artistic in its design. The characters were awesome...I actually wish I still had my dreamcast, I would pop it in right now.
I never heard of this game though, but might give it a try if it's like GG.
That if SO4 and FFXIII were on PS3 only, they'd be 1080p and 60fps in all their glory...and not some cheap 510p and who knows what FFXIII has been cheapened to.
I like the 360, but not to the point where i'll defend it. I know it's capable of doing more than it is right now, but developers obviously arent interested in making GREAT games for it.

9 was amazing, and 7 is definitely not overrated. It came about at a revolutionary time for video games, when 3D and Cinematics were first becoming the new trend in games, and we were all amazed.
The game was well received because it was created by a fantastic team that cared about what they were doin...

The Sonic Team needs to go back to making 2D side scrolling sonic...every Genesis fan would go out and get it. It could be a mix of 2D and 3D like Contra for the PS2 or LBP. It can be done, lets just see if they drop the ball again.

The game is being enjoyed my tons of people right now, even with the 'weighty' controls. Some people think it's terrible, while others become accustomed to it right away and dont let it bother their gaming experience. At least it's not comparable to LAIR and its terrible scheme.
Resident Evil 5 is a prime example. The controls are terrible, half the gaming community cant stand them, the other half accepts that thats the way it should be and it's not bad.

The releases for those games on 360 were definitely hyped more than KZ2 could ever have been.
MS literally spends millions upon millions to advertise and the sales represent that expenditure.
Sony hypes in their own way, it's more of a word of mouth hype than a lets-empty-our-trust-fund hype.
If Sony were to advertise the way MS does i'm sure they'd see a huge improvement in sales, but in the end theyre saving millions in advertising and are confident ...
This kind of technology is kind of crazy...
