I watch my friends play gears 2 sometimes with their little xbl headsets...they always just play horde...and it consists of hours of hiding behind cover in the SAME spot, shooting oncoming aliens...you can even plunk a shield down on the ground in certain positions to prevent them from getting close...and you just shoot fish in a barrel...
The maps are pretty small...and I've seen them get very frustrated at the lag to the point where they scream obscenities and turn it off.
Thats why you adjust the brightness on your TV...I didnt have to, but obviously you're not aware of your Video settings that can be configured...
As for the game not being fun...thats your opinion, so more power to you :)

I dont nkow about you but i like being able to bring movies and games over to a friend's house once in a while...(thats assuming you have friends, no insult intended)
Digital distribution is okay but only for games that are not sold in hard copies imo.

The game is being displayed on the PS3, for obvious reasons...it was built from the ground up on it, and they're using their lead system to push the game. The 360 version is not being publicized yet.

When you've got 1 game that's built from the ground up for one system by a dev with a good track record, on a superior blu-ray disc...and another game that's built multi-plat, so it has to meet the standards of the 5-6gig dvd9, built by a dev with a notsogood track record...you can already tell which is going to be superior.
For God's sake, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was the SAME thing as prototype...you go around and "HULK SMASH!" with no substance...just smash smash ...
But the part on the train where the black guy looks at the little boy, and the chocobo pops out and chirps, and the boy smles...that was my favorite part...because it lets you know that the game is not going to stray from its roots...the silliness will be there, and i have no doubt it'll be an excellent RPG.
It's a hassle fitting everything on their crap discs...
I wonder if NG2 was originally supposed to have the co op but it was also removed due to space limitations...
