Capcom is one of my favorite devs so an announcement from them for a new title makes me happy regardless of what game it is. Knowing Capcom I would guess it's not going to me exclusive...but thats just my educated guess only cause they lean toward MP and thats a well known fact. I would hope for a power stone 2, that would be amazing. Then again, all of the titles that are being speculated are amazing...so whatever they give us will surely be great! :)

I spent countless hours playing the Half-Life games, Counterstrike, and a variety of other mods that succeeded and didnt.
Valve has had an impact on my gaming career and I havent seen them do any shady business.
For now they have my support...but they really need to get on the ball with a new defining experience for this Gen.
Only problem is theyre trying to cater to an audiance that doesnt want anything to do with cute furry animals.
Back in the SNES days games like Donkey Kong and on N64 Banjo Kazooie were great because there was a fanbase that like those kinds of games. The kids nowadays are nothing like the ones from that generation.

When I first started playing videogames religiously, I always enjoyed games like Xenogears, FFVII, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, so on so forth. Those games are all priceless. You definitely get your moneys worth with a nice fresh RPG title.
Problem is that in this day and age, developers try to cater more to the genres that sell the most. Which is why 360s 2 flagship games are FPS games...they're just easy to sell.

They could very easily just make an ad with little words on the bottom that say "Actual Gameplay" so people that dont know much about games can understand how big a leap PS3 is taking into the next gen.
If I see a commercial and it says "Actual Gameplay" or something along those lines on the bottom, I would be more inclined to get it because it's obviously nothing like we're used to seeing in video games. (aside form Crysis)

You're right actually I forgot the 360's disc space is actually smaller in that sense...I read it on an article a few days ago. So PS2 version will actually be 1 LESS disc :)
I'm gonna have to break out my dusty PS2 for the SO4 port.
I stopped playing CoD4 for a few months...just recently started again. I play maybe an hour or two in the wee hours of the night after coming home from work or partying.
I never considered getting the variety pack before...but if it had been 50% off 2 weeks ago as opposed to on the day KZ2 releases, I would've gotten it.

Even if it's true or not that we're getting all these updates, I still feel as though the service is free, so whatever we do get will be an improvement regardless.
PSN is constantly working to improve itself and to solidify its position as a much more logical alternative to XBL. Free, excellent original games, and constant updates.
I'm sure once we get to 3.0, people will be wondering why the hell they're still paying for XBL. Online gaming should be free.

Bundling a brand new game for free is almost illogical. There's always a method to their madness when it comes to business, and Im in no way at all saying they're making a mistake...
What I think is theyre not very confident in the game flying off the shelves, so they'll bundle it so people that were thinking about getting the 360 will dive at the chance cause a Halo title is included free of charge.

If Microsoft werent in the console business...but they were in lets say Cosmetics or even the Restaurant business, they would be using similar business tactics regardless, only because they have so much money available to them.
It's not really shady business because If they were into cosmetics, they would try to buy Neutragina or whatever other companies are around that make those kinds of products...or they would invest a lot of money into their restaurant and make it much more ...
