They're gonna show all this fabulous footage of Alan Wake and not even specify which system they're showing it on. All the 360 owners are gonna see this amazing footage and think the 360 version is going to look the same...and they'll buy it.
When they realize it doesnt look the same, they're not gonna care, they already have it and it'll without a doubt be a great game, so thats the end of that...
They can keep showing us PC footage and getting the fans excited if ...
I personally would not think it's ok for them to do that. A lot of gaming companies do the same thing though so this complaint isnt limited to Alan Wake. I dont like being shown a game 5 years in advance, then keeping it silent until it's released. I'd rather they keep us updated with at least 1 announcement per year...im sure that wouldn't hurt. Something like, "This year we were able to give our concepts life in-engine...hers a pic"

FFVII had awesome action figures and merchandise that people would actually buy...
This stuff is being released too soon first of all...since no one knows anything solid about the cast or even the game...
Second, this is not gonna be the next FFVII by any means...so merchandise will not sell...I can almost guarantee that.
It sucks that FFVII always has to come up when SE does something...but it's just the sad truth...we will never get a game as good as F...

Went to gamestop and bought Uncharted
Came back home to pop in and start it.
Got through the first few minutes, I was amazed.
Then I saw the next cutscene, I stopped and gazed.

A difficult boss in a game is not a terrible thing...it SHOULD be hard, I really wonder who got up and complained? Like...FORMALLY complained to them. If you get to a hard boss, obviously it's not IMPOSSIBLE if people have already beaten him...
The gamers that said that was too hard are the ones that didnt grow up in the NES/SNES eras...WE know what hard games are. It was only in recent years that games began to spoon feed us.
It's very "nice" of them to help the other developers learn the technology more quickly, throwing them a bone. Thats exactly what the ps3 needs.
The way I would see it, they're all doing exclusives for the PS3, trying to work for that one goal, for people to realize it's a great gaming machine, and to purchase it and make them even more money. They're making an investment by helping other devs make games...and that should definitely be the case.

Lost a lot of credibility and potential subscribers. Whenever you hear the name EDGE in the gaming community you associate it with that 1 bad review they gave.

But it's still worth playing. Especially if you like the Halo concept, like...the characters and storyline. I'm not a very big fan of Halo, but If I were I would still play this just because it's the same universe. I'm expecting it to sell decently.
The last bosses I had were evil to the core. The owner was a millionaire but he still skimped checks from employees and took percentages from them illegally even though they're all living check to check.
Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves...i'm sure they can afford whatever it was they gave to them by accident...they probably just realized afterwards that they were too generous and changed their minds...

in 2 years, PS3 sold more than 360 did in its first 2 years...even with their 1 year with no competition. While the price of the PS3 was almost twice as expensive.
Even an avid Xbox fanatic would be able to understand the point of that statement...
None of the systems are DEAD or Dying...but the PS3 is definitely not leaving the picture anytime soon.
I would rather not wait another 4 years for KZ3 to come out...even though I know it'll probably be at least 2. I just know that whatever they're working on, will be amazing.
Put PS3 on the map.
If they all work together to make great games, they all reap the benefits.
So as long as they keep pumping out excellent titles with teamwork, the consumers will keep buying their games.
