I have the pulse 3d headset and from my experience the audio is better with the 3d option disabled. I compared it in Spider-Man and Playroom, all I felt like it was doing was adding some type of reverb effect but audio quality itself sounded more compressed making it sound worse. Maybe those games don't take advantage of it that great, I don't know.
Who would rush to drop $600, which with inflation is $800 now? If the PS5 was $800 it doesn't matter what it does when there is a cheaper Xbox with the same level of hardware and its backwards compatible too.
Look at the North American numbers which is PlayStations target market since moving their headquarters to California. PS3 30 million vs X360 50 million.
Vita sold more in a shorter time span than PSVR so why is PSVR a success? PSVR also sold worse than Quest 2 and Kinect by a huge margin.
That only happened because people weren't willing to spend the price of the console for motion controls and as a result the headset had less than a Vita level install base. That could very well happen again depending on the price of this new headset.
What is the point of VR in non VR games? You just want it for the 3D effect?
It's already been censored so this is probably the reason.
I would rather have a cheaper model with a pro controller and no screen or joycons. Joycons are terrible controllers, I don't see a single positive thing about them.
It needs a dock only model.
Amazon is doing it but it sells out (even at scalper prices) so quick you don't currently see any listed. They will show up as being sold from Amazon Warehouse. If Amazon Warehouse isn't Amazon who is it?
The difference here is that it's Amazon themselves selling used consoles at scalper prices not just random sellers. I noticed they were doing this back in April when I was trying to get a PS5. Luckily I was able to get one from Walmart with a discount too.
People on here really love to fanboy and nitpick especially when they can't afford having all the consoles.
People will also assume it's just some random dude when it was actually someone she lived with.
It was not a fan, she lived with him and they met in a psychiatric clinic.
It's not as bad as Wii U and Vita.
It blows my mind the Switch doesn't have one.
It would need basic PSP features for me to consider it.
Yeah, now you have Jim Ryan saying "like why would anybody play this?".
I'm surprised the PS5 even has PS4 backward compatibility.
If it's $500 I feel like it will sell even less than the six million the first headset sold.
