logic i used for the Wii, and i guess i was wrong cause the Wii is a jugernaut as far as sakles are concerned. Guess what, Sony and the PS3 need one beacause we don't have one yet.
this game with the home beta on the disk, that way if you wanted to get the open Home Beta you would have to buy this game. I think it would be a huge sales feature.
It would be cool and probably push lot of people over the edge to purchase this game. As it does look interesting to me its noty they type of game that i would usually purchase. I will get it anyway because its something new and differant.
It looks like, in that pic anyway, that the panels face downward...this would mean that you would not use the solar panels to charge while playing but to charge while not playing. For this i think its a great idea. If your traveling or something, you don't need to pack all the crap to keep it charged.
only because as time goes on the games will not get better quality wise, whereas the 360 and Ps3 will continue to improve and grow.
Wii has to hit big and fast, which it has, but it doesn't have the staying power of 360 or Ps3, IMO.
I thought the same, the Wii winning 2008 is a pretty safe bet as it out sold the ps3 by almost 10,000,000 units so far. An also out sold the 360 by about the same in 2008.
there is no way the Ps3 will beat the Wii in 2008, thats like saying the PSP will beat the DS, uhh...not gunna happen. Besides, they are really in differant markets, imo.

For me the people that should or have the right to be a "fanboy" are the people that own all 2 systems, you are the only one that can truly know all their strengths and or faults. same logic applies to the 360 as its achitecture is based on the PC so there was no learning curve. They make games for both systems the same way.
Edit: Thats why all developers say the 360 is so easy to develop for, because its the same as they have been doing for years.
And the same goes to developers that say the PS3 hardware is difficult. because its new and different. What worked before does not work for the PS3.

of the PS3 will transition to gamers instead of Vidoefiles looking for the cheapest Blue ray player. As the cost of Blue ray players comes down (below that of the Ps3) those looking for the player only will obviously buy the stand alone.
should release "Official" Guitars and or peripherals to be used on their systems and then the game developers would code their games to work with the official peripheral. ie drums guitars, mics... whatever. In the end everyone is happy and the focus becomes the actual game and not the controllers.

and a buddy of mine got a free Xbox360 with his Bravia. I am pretty sure this was the offer by the retailer and not from Sony, but seriously its an odd combination to package together.
P.S. he also got 3 games with it free and bought two others.
