I remember getting irritated after no news of a new console after the 2011 e3 (6years), then after no news at 2012 e3 I was so pizzed I learned to build a pc and went 1080p60fps that Spring.
I think they will stretch this gen nearly the same way. Of course I moved to 4k before the x1 was even announced.

Consoles are nice but if you want a step up pc is a fun experience. I can understand time and money issues but as a hobby dabbling in hardware is an interesting hobby.

Good points, but on the combat with bosses you said seemed more of a method which is true of all the games but when watching someone else who already knows the method is the key.
Part of the frustration is the time it takes dieing while discovering the method. Once you figure out how then it seems easy.
I have to be in the mood for a game like this and helps to have a partner taking turns.
I still use a i52500k and I think the latest $500 cpu is like only 10 fps faster in most games.
I wonder if dx12 will give me 10 extra frames.

Come see 4k60fps PC games and even a 6yo can pick the better one. I know since did it.
I tried the pc first one last year and the gfx were locked so I deleted it. With the hype I loaded it back up today and found a simple 4k mod and what a difference.
I'm playing the original in 4k and I'm really digging it. I was almost ready to give up after several attempts at the first boss and finally wuped his mofo az!
I get now, it is fun.
Agreed, happy for those who like that, and happy for me there are plenty of other games to play.
I really dislike that type of gameplay especially since it's not realistic. A rainbow six game with one shot makes sense to me but memorizing patterns not so much.

Maybe they want you deleting old games and never go back to them, that way your time and money is spent on new games that require new purchases.
If you are spending time on old previous purchased games that's not gonna sell a new game.
I tried to a ea's 2014 golf game and servers are dead, gaming devils.
Because of my 1000 year backlog I've placed a moritorium on buying games this entire year.
I bought like an addict for over 20 years and feel like I'm responsible for the growth in the industry.
