You're probably correct, however I'm hoping they keep the current $400 and pack in morpheus. Then dropping the standard ps4 to $300.
$200 gtx 960 gets it done with 60fps and 1080p. Not bad as an upgrade for someone already with a pc.
Especially if there coming from a gtx 560 from 4-5 years ago.
However the i5-2500k probably doesn't need an upgrade they bought back then.
Playin it now for the first time, but in 4k. Love it.
This "history" encampases what games? I Can't think of 3 or 4 that had "horid execution."
So when I pick this up for $7.50 on the Spring Steam sale will I be able to play it basically as a single player game? Or will it require others to play?
Based on Sony's track record with the Move, I can see why there are skeptics of another peripheral.
The pc on the other hand have the true hard core tech heads of the world playing with the rift. I could see where that seems a bit more sustainable.
Also can't understand how the horsepower will be available for morpheus considering The Witcher is only 30fps and a $175 card can run it at 60fps.
I went 4k prior to the new consoles being announced. It kind of ruined the consoles for me as I only can look at the exclusives now.
It is a luxury no doubt. Similar to $300 jeans or shirts, they are better but depends on what you're into and income. Same as hotel rooms you can always go up it just depends on where you are in life.
If games are important to you I don't see the problem with putting money into a 4k rig, I mean you could blow that mon...
Don't you mean pay to win is a pass?
I've actually noticed this in many games, call it the uncanny valley trees. The tree movement is just off and I know it immediately.
Not sure if it has to do with how much time you hike as I'm outside a lot, but it's just something that sticks out to me and the author.
It's not investing in a console. You made a purchase that depreciates, rather quickly.
Stocks and bonds are an investment. The potential to make you money.
Now, I sold my ps4 in the early weeks and I made money off of it.
Is your driver up to date? I actually had to revert to the pre gta5 driver, first time I ever had a driver issue.
I suppose you haven't read the many articles on how to build a 1080p60fps pc for $750.
Really you can't go a month without reading one if you visit tech sites.
The last driver update for gta5 messed up things. For the first time ever I had to revert to the previous version.
Funny how the gold standard advice is to never update any drivers if the current ones are working, yet I always update day 1 without reading any forums to see if it's bricking hardware.
The "situation" is an unfinished product, word it anyway you want. The devs can "explain" their lack of deliverables and be upfront about it, but that does not excuse the result.
Lackluster effort and poor planning is not excused because you give me excuses.
So the devs are treating it as a kick starter even now, after releasing a final product. How do you not finish the AI? A crucial element that the devs will patch in.
BS, make a great complete game if you want to compete for my money. They have been around awhile and I have all their older games, they should be more professional with their considerable experience in the industry.
Just read their responses in the article, it is infuriating to see the lack of ...
It is at 60 on the pc. The console versions are stuck at 35-50 which the article describes as no man's land producing worse smoothness than the locked ps3 at 30fps.
Devs should have gave an option to lock 30.
If it's released at e3 I'll go buy another ps4, even though I promised to wait for a hardware revision.
Just for the sheer pomp of it all I would enjoy seeing that game blow up with ratings, buys and media attention.
Same here, but the sm reference they won't get. Skewing to old for "one wild and crazy guy."
Man I'm tempted by this, but I promised myself to wait for the first hardware revision before I buy another ps4.
I'm really hoping a ps4K version would be offered with a 4kBR drive.
I haven't noticed this website to be engage clickbait articles, am I missing something?
