I was at 4k 2 years ago before the nextbox was even announced. With a titan.
Watched the Sony ps4 show in Feb then played 4k crysis3 and laughed at kz aliasing and crapy trees in comparison.

The last gen MNC LA was great until a race started. Just cruising around was fun and watching the cut scenes from in game engine was nice.
But once the race started a weird camera zoom angle with limited ability to discern where the next turn was until to late to prepare for it.
I got the original titan, 2 years ago used for $800. I could sell it for a couple hundred and I've only spent $300 per year for that card.
I'll be watching this to do the same. I was doing 4k before x1 was even annannounced.
I get all those examples, I will have all of that just like I always do.
But my point stands, replace your descriptions of how great this will be and replace vr for 3d/move/kinect/etc and it the same as 5 years ago, just a new device.
Long time gamers have a chest full of old peripherals and tech that all promised the world and fizzled.
You can take every vr article and replace the term vr with 3d/move/kinect and it's the same article written before.

Best is true but you will pay double. I spent 2 months with several 4k tvs from last year and tried each one. Sony, samsung, vizio, LG in that order of best PQ and gaming.
I settled on the vizio because the slight drop in PQ was not worth paying double the price.
Bingo. I was gonna buy a second x1 for the kids, mine is in the man cave. And I was NOT gonna pay for win10.
Now I,WILL upgrade to win10 and put the x1 downstairs. Since I can play x1 on pc.

If MS makes $10 per console and Sony makes $5 per console they have equal profits.
Or MS nets 30% and Sony nets 35% per console. And I imagine as manufacturing improves those percentages improve...but to what?

Video games don't come close to movies for me, in reaching my feelings and causing me to actually cry and laugh so hard. Movies from all ages too.
Music from all ages can actually move me way more than video games.
Tlos I think is the only game that even comes close. Also telltales game of thrones a little.
Try it at 4k. I beat it first thing on x1 then sold it when announced for pc. I watched it on sale for $20 but will get it at 10-15 maybe this summer.

I tried this on the freeware version on the x1, glad I waited.
