None, it was their worst event ever. I think they talked about mundane blah blah.
Now watch their event it had cool games just as sony did.
No that's not sexy, that is what you take home cause you don't have any better, sexier, options.
Sexy might look like 2 or more tb. Plus needs to come out sooner than fall.
I've been waiting until a hardware revision to get another ps4 after I sold mine early on due to making a profit but mostly a huge backlog?
About how many games can I put on a 1tb?
Do I void warranty for diy replacement hd?
Is there any talk of another hardware revision next year with morpheus?
I can wait, funny thing, my backlog has grown.
I prefer the piano gloss, oh well.
That's fine, we have no choice. But I wish they would show us a downgraded version running at 60 and compare.
Coming from pc I have always found 30 to 60 is worth dropping some settings down.
Especially after you've played it a couple hours and the gfx aren't as important, but running around a boulder smoothly to shoot the boss dinosaur IS much more important.
If people had an option nearly all would leave on 60 after awhile
Everything you said is true.
Re-read the comment and replace VR with 3D and it's all been said before.
"we've been supporting the third-party's and first-party's developments and everything has to align. So we are waiting for that time to come."
so the games are not ready.
You are still going to need a monitor, in fact you will be purchasing VR, a light gun, camera, and a new monitor when it dies.
I wish the resolution of the monitor could somehow be used to make the game look better, I would love to up res RDR and such to 4096x2160.
...before some wise guy says the polygons aren't going to look good, I've been at 4k before x1 was announced and yes, anything looks better in a higher resolution.
No they tell the truth, it's how I found out why games looked so blurry to me last gen, they reported the actual resolutions, which was like 700x500 crap.
I like the truth and I'm older than the millennials your picking on...for no reason
Your soooo wise because of your age, yet in all those years you haven't figured out people value things differently than you, and that IS acceptable. Grow up.
people's budget is as varied as people themselves.
Hopefully you learn soon that there are so many different people... you just can't make generalizations such as "shit ton of money."
Kids with little money grow up to be adults with large salaries, and spending a few thousand every few years on pc is no big deal, and spend a few thousand several times per year on holiday.
ive found VR to be extremely enjoyable in short stints but not anywhere close to the longevity of music games.
I just want you to be prepared, monitarily, that it may not keep you occupied long term.
You may want to demo morpheus and the music games or buy where you can return.
Well I have tried it and I love it, but it's still as he said strapping a frying pan on your head while doing kinect.
I buy it all so I don't have a problem with it, mainstream however, see reference - move/kinect/3D.
I really wanted to get use out of my old move controllers, and since they really didn't continue support I'm a tiny bit miffed.
However I won't be negative towards advancement of technology, however they better have advanced technology and not just 5 year old tech I already own.
I think the demo that you suggested has worked on traditional games but in VR the demo doesn't have the eye candy and it not close to what it's like in the mask.
Which is going to make it hard to get a wow moment, they probably need to strike a deal with Best buy to show it.
You actually are right. I just got the Gear VR and as cool as the tech is, there is just NO way top games will be better by VR.
Like move, kinect, 3D it's cool but after 15 min I must turn it off and play the typical way with a controller and tv.
All of the hype was exactly the same for move, kinect, 3D. Go back and read the articles and replace with VR.
If they aren't eating, I would offer securing a food plan should be a priority and leave ZERO time for spending any money on video games.
Needs vs. Wants
The small honest guys won't have a problem if they sell a game people want to keep.
Oh you're keeping old games as a rainy day fund, you'll get 25 cents for those old games *you own."
Did you read the article, the author explains that hype does not equal games in 2015. Hype does not turn multiplats into exclusives.
Which he hopes doesn't limit new console sales.
