I just finished DS Extraction last weekend and started in on DS1, I never played them originally. At 4k60 on a new OLED It looks phenomenal. With infinite contrast, perfect blacks, crisp highlights of color and lighting I’m blown away.
I can’t follow either story so might as well...the first few times playing halo I still had no idea what was going on.
Coincidentally just finished Judgement last night and today started gears 1 on pc.
The down votes MUST be the uninformed...great movie line.
I’m on mobile but I’m getting up to the pc, I want to see the actual difference. Last I looked at a video of a modder adding ray tracing to an older game and I could hardly tell the difference. I want to know what all of the fuss it about.
Edit: just watched the rtx on/off videos and IM NOT IMPRESSED. It basically adds better reflections, lighting and shadows. If this is as resource heavy as I’ve heard there is no way it’s worth losing fps.
Did you look at the source of the article?
Amazon Ebay, like about everything is on there for purchase, really obscure things too...try it sometime! I search Eba/amazon prior to most purchases and when looking for cheap old games.
After reading the review and being a fan of Kinect I thought that game would be a classic for me. But it just didn’t work well with me, not sure if it was my lack of rhythm or what. I do need to give it another shot though.
Wha?
There is a dozen or so kid games on the 360 that my kids love, but not worth it on x1. We have about all of the 360 Kinect games and there is some short times of fun in almost all of them. But I can’t even buy all of the x1 Kinect games because they rarely go on sale. If they were $5-10 I would try them all with the kids.
An exciting area for me is how well will the ps5 upgrades ps4 games in frame rate and resolution. I hope automatically without dev patches all of the ps4 games can get significantly better performance.
If it turns out to be loading times only I’ll be disappointed. Surely there is a way, please hardware geeks tell me it will happen.
One of the companies need to tie power into real world results of stable frame rate at 4k60.
The fact that the ceo sat down last year with a financial publication and said ps5 is coming like almost a year and a half ago.
This is surprising based on past behavior where they lied/poker face and said no new console up to the feb reveal. This was thought the common sense way to handle new console launches. It supposedly keeps the competition guessing and consumers from holding off buying.
So this launch they surprised the industry and have admitt...
I just bought this a few months ago on a very cheap sale, then I think recently it was added to game pass.
Oh crap idk about drive club, I’m so glad you mentioned it, and I just happen to be in this article. I’ve been wanting that game but was waiting until ps5 to get it. Now i need to check into this cause hell I’ll buy it now if I need to.
It looks like there is a hard copy version, so I can pick that up cheap, the online stuff which I don’t usually do is what goes away in 2020, and it can’t be bought on psn
I bought both of the releases, those were unique games and I always wondered how they would look in high resolution.
There could be some just trying to complete it for no reason, but I feel those people are wanting a full story completed like a movie.
I’m always interested in the core story of the game and like the theater but grinds get in the way.
I think the core of the reason why grind exists is the culture gaming have created the how many hours of gameplay per $.
Over the years episodic chapters tried to address this, but didn’t really work fo...
No upfront hardware costs and you get to play the newest next gen game, that's nice for casuals who don't want to fork out $600 with games.
Dang this is the 2nd article from this website with bad proof writing and poor writing period, I won't click a 3rd.
It comes down to budget, for people that don't allocate $450, 7% tax, $65 per 1 game so basically $600 with 2 games then casuals can play a NEXT GEN game for $65 out the door and keep $500 in the bank.
I would prefer the high bit rate of 4k uhd, even blu ray bit rates are higher than streaming and more video data allows better blacks...
I adopted that philosophy this past gen, I bought both on release day but realized what you are saying and sold one. I still had ps360 games to play and 600 games on steam.
I kept the x1 due to ryse and powershot golf and the ps4 didn’t have any exclusives in the first year that I needed. Now I’ll get a ps5 and buy $5 ps4 games upgraded on new hardware while I wait on ps5 games to trickle in and buy them on sale a year later too.
I figured that out one gen earlier than you, after getting both ps4 and x1, I realized every game on ps4 for the first year could be had on pc or x1 so I sold it. Plus still had ps360 games to finish.
Now I’m looking forward to ps5 day 1 and play all the Ps4 exclusives in best fashion possible for $5-10 each.
Funny thing is I’m still not done with ps360 and ballooned Steam to over 600 now. At least I just got an OLED and I’m in awe of Motorstorm and ...
