I can about quote last couple years all models native rate and about all mid range up are 120hz. Only the low end are now 60hz.
I’m sorry buddy that is years old, most all mid range from Sony, Sammy, LG, Vizio and tcl are native 120 hz.
The low end models are 60 hz, and in the last 2 years these manufacturers know we understand this on mid to high range and shop for it.
Only on the low end models the the 60hz get fake terms.
This past year Sammy and vizio had qleds for under 1k, the nu/ru8000 I think and the p series viz. They are mid range tv's but good enough, with 120hz. I almost got the P Quantum viz 65 inch on sale for 1100, it had been over 2k.
55 inch oleds have been hard locked above 1k so I don't see much movement on a 65 oled that's been stable at over 2k. They are all 120hz. There is supposed to be a 49 inch oled for 1k coming this year.

60fps is not “literally the same game.” 4K improved gfx is not the same.
It’s a game on a tv that we use vision to experience so improved gfx are always welcome. So there is a reason to play on pc, cause it looks better.

Whats the most vicious business move to drown Sony? Offer an identical spec machine for less to capture those on a tight budget, then offer the most powerful console at a higher price that capture those into the high end.
I don't think they will do that, but they could offer a free year of game pass and that might help Sony users to switch. MS seems content where they are not beating Sony so I don't know if they would get into a price war.
