The combination of this comment, name and avatar is almost too much for me to handle. Lol.
Alien Colonial Marines hurt this brand in my opinion.
2.11M across 5 platforms isn't good. It deserved better.

Besides OtherZinc lying, thanks for the responses.
Thanks, sounds reasonable.
Fantastic news.
The previous Witcher games didn't light up the charts, so I wasn't sure how this would do. I'm glad games that were considered niche last gen are getting more awareness surrounding them this generation. Namely this and Bloodborne.
It's a good sign for the industry seeing creativity becoming profit. It will only lead to more investments into different ideas.
What games in development currently do you expect to see these massive boosts in performance from DX12? Just curious. Is it just Xbox One exclusives or all titles?
And when is this suppose to be happening?
"Barely begun" in the development world is pretty vague.
2 1/2 to 3 years is fairly normal for AAA development.
I honestly thought he was trolling with the 2018 date.
"PS4 may have better resolution and frame rate, but god damn the textures are muddy."
That's the AF and like every other game that had the problem it will be patched, is a bug in the software. Sony sent developers the work around for it a month or two ago, considering Project Cars was almost finished then, it's not surprising it is present still.
Dying Light and DMC Remaster had the same problem, they have both been fixed with a patch.
Besides AF the PS4 version has a lot of advantages on consoles. Resolution, frame rate and effects.
The AF notes Sony sent to developers a month or two ago to resolve the issue might not have been implemented yet and will most likely get patch like the other games that had the same problem.
A few reasons I would think
a) Development time, they want it out sooner than later.
b) The last collection had a lot of problems, they don't want to risk it.
Don't do this to yourself, just enjoy the game.
It's not going to do big numbers.
It's not that simple.
It's missing a lot of common features people expect in multiplayer games and being a shooter exclusively on the Wii U doesn't help.
They're leaks. It's OK, it's not like this is all they'll have.
These are both smaller announcements for something like E3. Leaks are fine as long as they're not the big ones, in my opinion.
What's to find out? It's Gears of War and it releases in 2015.
This and the 1TB Xbox are E3 leaks.
Doesn't sound like it.
Remasters are fine. We can have both remasters and new titles with out effecting new game development too much. They bring awareness to series that have new titles coming that some people never got to explore.
Contrary to popular belief, they aren't hurting development of other titles and they stop the crazy dry spots for we had for new releases last gen.
It's usually just a few people working on them over a period of a few months. Not some huge deve...
Titanfall 2 will release early 2017, probably March.
Yea, I think this is a definite possibility, more so than a slim or what not.
I think they should release a white console that's not limited edition like the SO one was.
For those interested, here are the platform splits for Project Cars in UK.

It did very well on PS4 considering the UK platform split.
