@king_george
Yet there is nothing to back that up.
It's an insult to call these developers lazy when it's well-known that they work 40+ hours a week and hardly see their families when they're crunching on a game. This has been documented.
You can do better than that.
Your attributing a fanboy angle to the article when there is none. Stay on topic.
"Before all you fan boys and girls go crazy"
Insult your readers in the opening sentence. That's nice.
Still plenty of people playing, along with plenty of active servers.
Agreed. However, it's a welcome addition seeing as how Abyssea made EXP parties go bye-bye.
Superman, Justice League, Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Corps. It's all spelled out for them.
Agreed. I loved the challenge of old FFXI.
Basically what you're saying is: a few people complained about a few things and thus I think all developers everywhere should take their ball and go home.
That is the worst possible suggestion you could make.
@Stsonic
They're reading from teleprompters, they're not performing Death of a Salesman.
I really am hoping that you mixed the names up.
@majiebeast
That's why you have teleprompters and rehearsals.
@Nitrowolf
The emmys, grammys, and oscars all have awards given out via their peers. VGAs should be no different. Let the developers celebrate games, their work, and present their awards to one another.
The whole problem with these shows is they do not focus enough on the developers; they're barely in the forefront and these are games that they made.
Agreed.
I'm fine with any host, as long as they have an audience, and musical performances that make sense.
As for presenters, sorry but gamers are not the appropriate choice. It should be developers presenting awards and talking about games. It is their craft after all.
Neither. People should discover games for themselves.
You guys have the two Getaway games on PS2 if anything. ;)
It was a prison cell covered in ice. I would not compare that to his fully realized appearance in Arkham City.
STAHP.
He was in Arkham City. Not Asylum.
Frame-rate and graphics are not as important as story, gameplay, and overall immersion. The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us are chief examples of this.
