Exactly, and Watchmen as well. I really would love it if he wrote the MGS film. He has the background in the film industry AND the MGS franchise. It'd be silly not to hire him.
Yeah, I agree that this is all on Kojima. I'm sure Sutherland is going to do the best he can with the role, and it's unfair to attack him for taking work (not implying that you were).
Glad to see Hayter is getting work though. He deserves it. I'm actually curious as to whether or not he ever plans on going back to screenwriting. It would be a nice gesture if Kojima and Avi Arad brought him back to write the MGS film.
I'm guessing they'll just show things we've seen already like Ryse and Dead Rising 3.
Eh, I would just want them to cool it on the amount of bat-characters.
Agreed, they need to think outside the box ESPECIALLY when it comes to those two.
Next-gen has kept him busy, that's all.
He wasn't in this week's episode.
"He bought and paid for the console, therefore he's entitled to use said console and all of its features the very second he gets it. That's just fact."
No, it's really not a fact.
"This is the sound of the world's smallest violin being played."
This is my favorite nonsensical reply on the internet.
You would want to protect your work too, sir.
"MS could have easily kept the service off...
"So you're trying to tell me that it's NOT illegal to prevent the use of a product you paid for and obtained legally?"
Stop acting like the kid strolled in to the store on launch day and walked out with a console.
Target accidentally sent it to him two weeks prior, granted that is an issue between Microsoft and Target, but that doesn't mean Microsoft can't curtail the kid's online activities in the meantime until the 22nd. They have ever...
"There's nothing even close to that."
It has been quoted already in this thread: Microsoft can terminate your service at any time, for whatever reason. Whether you want to believe it or not, having a console two weeks before launch is excessive, especially when some of the services aren't even ready for the masses. These are things that people have worked on for years - you don't take something like that lightly.
"Just general, broad langua...
"Every day, gamers are being punished more and more just for being gamers and acting the way we all used to back in the old school days."
Because we always used to get consoles two weeks before launch and utilize their unprepared and unfinished online services a whole two weeks before release (and publicize that fact). Right? Wrong. We're not back in the day.
"None of us agreed to the terms of a partnership that Microsoft has with any third party so...
"stop fanning the flames. It's simple really, as soon as you stop paying attention to flame bait articles, journalists screaming for attention or just talking nonsense, then all the genuine video game journalism will be pushed to the front."
Truer words have never been spoken on this site.
"Yes, there are many individuals who use colourful language and threats, but this aspect isn't new or isolated to gaming."
'It is what it is' is not a valid argument. Certainly not for this type of immature and disrespectful behavior.
@darthv72
Trust me when I tell you I looked for one lol.
I agree that when you're in the public eye, you really do need to hold yourself to a higher standard and conduct yourself accordingly. I'm pretty sure for every person praising him, there is another who is turned off by his antagonistic approach here.
Great, great people skills.
Deception and Deadly Alliance first. THEN we'll talk about Armageddon.
Agreed. :)
Well, they WERE going for realism...
And The Long Dark! Both interesting games that he's involved in.
