"One, your experiences weren't what the comment was about."
Obviously. What's your point? Your blog is not exempt from responses in the comments.
"Two, no one can verify your experience, or know the kind of publishers you deal with."
What reason would I have to lie? None.
"Three, your experience isn't universal."
I didn't indicate that I thought it was.
"Final, my com...
"People like AngryJoe also have far more integrity and trust built up from gamers due to the fact that they aren't being bought off by free product with the expectation of a favourable review,"
When a publisher sends me a game to review, the agreement is that I will play the game and provide a fair and objective review in a timely manner. It could be a negative or positive review. Anyone who feels obliged to skew their review in a positive light just because the...
Very good idea.
Completely agreed. Or find a way to integrate them into the tutorial or opening cinematic. Just don't make them into a speed bump, or a chore to be clicked through.
155m PS2 units sold and no one gave a fuck about 480p.
I played FFXI for over six years exclusively on PS2 and Xbox 360. The controller worked just fine for everything you mentioned.
Dead Rising 3 launches on November 22, 2013. This article pertains to Q1/Q2 2014 titles.

"He seemed prepared. He seemed prepared enough to tell you that he didn't have the answer, and they would have to check with their suppliers to determine what their course of action was."
Agreed.
"Why would you even expect a random CSR to have the answer moments after the announcement. Do you think that Amazon reps sit there with only the gamer's interest in mind?"
I think they sit there with the consum...
Yes but the release date has since been removed.
I relish delays at this point. Just gives me more time to finish other games lol. I was a little happy when they delayed Grand Theft Auto V, for example.
I've worked in customer service before. You have to be prepared for situations like this.
Assuming they didn't, Ubisoft should have contacted Amazon before-hand, so the latter could plan out a better course of action as to what to tell the concerned customers.
That's what my assumption is too, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Two things:
If you read the preview, you'll see that I had a lot of fun with it and am looking forward to it. I'm just concerned about its replay value and longevity. I have an obligation to be honest with my readers.
Sales numbers are never totally indicative of quality. By your logic, Call of Duty can be considered the Schindler's List of video games because it sells gangbusters every time it's released.
With over 100 characters it would be hard to think he didn't make the cut.
That was a more badass reveal than the Electrocutioner trailer at the Batman: Arkham Origins panel lol. Okay, not really, but it came close.
Yeah, I got that. Mentioned in the article as well that the game is loaded with references. The subtitle was more of a reference to the generation of gamers that may not understand what a lot of this game is alluding to in its gameplay and scenery.
I don't get that either! Why couldn't they just take the Power Rangers route and have all the colors be uniform with what they're wearing already? Lol.
That, and the references to Super Mario Bros. 2 were my best guess.
I never knew that, and you make a great point with Wind Waker. I always got the impression from gamers that Mario Sunshine, while not bad, was still considered to be an after-thought compared to the rest of the catalog.
It really doesn't. I don't even have the urge to go on GTAO anymore. I've moved on.
