Backwards compatibility is a huge deal for me, as I can explore an entire backlog of games from that platform that I may have missed the first time around.
I wish it was hardware backwards compatibility and not cloud based, but we can't all get what we want I suppose.
Also, this site needs to stop claiming who was copying who. When a company mimics the practices of another company, IT'S A GOOD THING, as a standard was set and others are following. Son...
I agree that Nintendo's current situation is not so good. However there's no actual doom saying to be said yet.
We're about to have a WORLD WIDE Pokemon launch as well as a cheaper alternative to the 3DS on the SAME DAY. The 3DS has sold 33 million already. I hope you know where I'm getting at.
As for the Wii U, we'll just have to wait and see.
Doing so would devalue their brand.
It's suffered from lack of quality first party Nintendo games and third party support.
It'll be in a better place in the coming months than it was in the past 6 months.
There are advantages to having motion controls, the problem is that so few developers have actually made well designed games using motion controls.
The best uses of motion controls that I've played this generation are:
-Wii Sports/resort
-Light gun games (House of the Dead: Overkill, Sin & Punishment)
-Zelda: Skyward Sword
-Red Steel 2
-Boom Blox
-Dance Central

OH NO, there was a serious shooting with a lot of victims.
CLEARLY video games are the problem. -_-
PC is objectively and factually superior.
My friend, you don't need 1000 dollars to run games at 1080p and 60 frames per second on a PC. That's a misinformed, ignorant, and straight up incorrect statement.
Which is why you should play the game on PC. Superior everything.
I see no one wants to talk about how this new NEXT GEN engine supports Wii U, but if it didn't, this article would have 100 comments.
WHY doesn't this thing use SD cards?!
Such a funny article landing on a site like this, filled with fanboys of all kinds.
Objectively, the PC version will ALWAYS be the best version of just about anything, simply due the it's superior Graphics, Sound, Frame Rate, Online infrastructure, controls, and gameplay.
I didn't think Pikmin 3 would break 100k to be honest, I bought the game thinking I'd be one of very few to buy it, but I was wrong.
And it hit number one at that. But then again it's the first quality Wii U exclusive to come out FOR MONTHS.
OMG OMG OMG OMG, it's probably not true.....
I'm excited to see what both of them are announcing.
Thank you.
Gotta say, I'm pumped. I don't plan on getting a PS4 'till next year, but people are saying that they're gonna announce new games, which is always good.
Does anyone know when this will hit in Eastern Time?
You can't go wrong with free dev kits.
This is one of my biggest problems with Wii U. Got on that shit Nintendo.
