Objectively, PC is superior.
-Graphics destroy consoles
-Online services destroy consoles
-Longevity destroys consoles
-Control options destroy consoles
-The games are cheaper
-Mods
-More exclusives than all the consoles combined
It's pretty clear which one is superior. The only reason to own consoles are for the exclusives.

Software sells hardware.
Relying on one or two games to "save" a platform is stupid. The sooner we get out of that mindset, the sooner things get better as a great library of games "saves" platforms.
We all don't look back on great consoles like the PS1, PS2, SNES, etc for ONE game.

I think next year will be the best time to buy a Wii U. The more highly anticipated games are releasing next year.
I doubt that they'll rush Smash like that, Sakurai's taking development of that game VERY seriously.

Lets all ask ourselves this, what is the game that you are looking forward to on Wii U? Is that game out? No? Well there you have it. Much of the anticipated games for Wii u aren't out. Nintendo need to release those games. I want to play X, Smash 4, Bayonetta 2, SMT X Fire Emblem, Zelda U.
And I'm sure Nintendo are aware of the situation, these are people who are running a corporation, but I expect Nintendo will get more aggressive with the Wii U, and that's not ...
