I'm real tired of people saying that this will be the last console generation.
Consoles have games that people want to play. It's like this for the Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U.
SOFTWARE SELLS HARDWARE.
The problem with that claim is that the PS4 and Xbox One were designed to be easy to develop for. They're already getting day one performance. I think if their engines get better, maybe, but we're not gonna see beginning and ending generational leap.
It's a shame that the leap isn't as big as we all would have liked, but I'll admit that it's impressive that Ubisoft's Engine works great across multiple platforms, especially considering the time constraints the team obviously had.
Adam Sessler was right to say that we should wait for these consoles.
Sony needs to sort things out.
Why not just have her playable in a galaxy type game?
I hope Sony doesn't sink, the game industry NEEDS competition. In the end, competition benefits US the gamers. So hang in there Sony.

These new consoles are all technically INFERIOR to the PC, so why bother debating graphics in the first place?
So people would rather have the game NOT exist that be exclusive to a platform? That's just sad.

There are no killer apps for either of the new systems at launch, and I can get better versions of multiplats on PC.
I'm not too excited for next gen.

Considering how much they talk about the Wii U's graphical capabilities, this should be an interesting reveal.
And they're using a new engine if I'm not mistaken.
All of these "options" are doing nothing but retracting gameplay. The author seems to be thinking things from a business perspective rather than a gamers perspective.

It DESTROYS the consoles specs wise. (Keep in mind I'm using N4G logic.) So of course it will catch on. Who would want to buy the consoles, which are objectively inferior, instead of a TRUE next generation machine?
