The Wii u has price an wide appeal going for it, especially since we all know that there's a price drop in bound. Plus the system has a much more promising first party line up than the other two. Once smash and Mario kart are released, those Wii U Doom artichles are gonna go away.

Once Nintendo drive the install base, then sure. I'm pretty sure EA are waiting for more wii u's to be out there to justify a port, it's probably gonna be a late port unfortunately.
Budgets for AAA games are too damn high. If you budget and market your game accordingly with realistic expectations, you'll be fine.
Look at Dark Souls, that game had a smaller budget and loot at how well it sold.
Publishers need to stop blowing their loads.

In all honesty, the used games/DRM thing with MS is A LOT worse than Nintendo Denying an organization to stream a fighting games that's over ten years old.
All of the big three are huge D**** for a lot of things you know. I can name a lot of things that MS and Sony have done that should not be forgiven.

This game has the best cast in my opinion, Steiner's like the over protective Dad to Dagger, Vivi's the shy but strong one, Zidane's basically like Luffy and so on, this game definitely had the most heart and care in to it out of the modern Final Fantasy.

At the end of the day, it's gonna come down to the games and how they advertise them, Power truly is irrelevant to the average consumer.
THAT's what's gonna matter. Notice why the Wii U is not selling very well. NO ADVERTISING, and no big games. If power was so relevant than why did half of you pick a PS2 over an Xbox? Exactly, because the PS2 had games you like.
Same thing applies this Gen.
Lack of marketing is one of the biggest problems, but I'm sure that will kick off when the games come.

Nintendo's IP's have more mass appeal than Sony's, and they certainly sell more than Sony's franchises.
The big problem with the Wii U now is that there's nothing to play on it, and Nintendo has done Jack and Sh!t to market the thing.
The PS2 had a TERRIBLE launch, to the point that they dropped the price less than a year after it launched.
