More Wii u's being sold means more devs will be attracted to the system.
It needs a bigger install base. Same thing with the PS4 and 720/Infinity.
Let the Wii U launch be a lesson for the other two.
Launch with a Killer App, so that the Install base can grow faster, then have third party games released during those first party droughts, SIMPLE.
I like Monster Hunter, and Pikmin 3 will be fun, but I mean system SELLERS, like games that are ABSOLUTELY must have.
I think a game like Zelda, Smash Bros, or Retro's game will be the Killer app the Wii U needs, or even the 3D mario or Mario Kart. Games that will send systems flying off the shelves.
We'll see what Nintendo pulls at E3.

If they sold the digital versions of retail games at a lower price, like Steam, then it could work wonders, and provide great incentive for a digital purchase, being how digital sales make more money for developers.

I just hope both of those consoles don't go through the same growing pains that the Wii U is going through now.
There hasn't been a shooter that plays around with gameplay mechanics, the only one that comes close to mind recently is Bioshock Infinite, and even then, the story was that game's biggest strength.
The biggest problem is that NO ONE is willing to take risks, Battlefield 4 looks BORING as hell, they really seem to be banking on the graphics, but After this game, and especially after Crysis 3, how else do you expect to wow us?

Bundle this game with the Basic model for $330, Watch those sales go way the hell up lol.
It wouldn't make sense to release them on those systems, especially since the install bases of the two will be so small that they likely wouldn't make the money back from the ports.
Both the PS3 and 360 have 70+ million systems out there, plus Steam alone has about 40+ million users last time I checked.
Would any of you run the risk of losing money on ports for consoles that players of those new consoles most likely wont buy, because a player getting...
