Wow. big deal. Why was this a thing again?
Yep, 3DS at 30 million in 2 years, yep, just SUCKS.
I just want SOME version of the game that looked like that Demo from E3. WTF happened to that?!
This could mean that indie devs could just easily port a game from PC to PS4, 720, and Wii U with out much hassle, since Unity capitalizes on easy multiplatform development.
SUPER great news for indie devs looking to make games on consoles.
Improved boss fights? I played this on PC originally, and they were SO lack luster. If this ends up delivering on this promise, i might give this a go, also, it's good that it includes the DLC.
Wii U owners should seriously consider buying this if they didn't already, it's one of my favorite games this Gen and one of the best Western RPG's ever.
Certainly hopes so. Been meaning to upgrade for a bit. Just waiting for the right moment.
looks like we wont be seeing this for a while then.
Kinda curious as to what it is, because this could very well be his last big IP before he retires. Or who knows, he may have multiple IP's being made, but the point is, him and his team are the driving force behind it.
also, on an arbitrary note, i kinda wanna know what the inspiration behind this new game will be, because many of his games are inspired by his real life experiences.
Whatever it is, it's gonna have a huge amount of that good 'ol fashion Kojima Cheese lol.
Nothing against the man personally, but EA needs a CEO who hold the customer to high regards.
Nickle and diming the hell out of us is one of the MANY reasons i stopped supporting EA. I used to like them a lot, with the games that they published this Gen like Mirrors Edge, the Bad Company games, Alice: Madness returns, Spore, etc, They've had their fair share of Gems.
But it was those shitty business decisions that tainted their name and the game industry,...
Yeah, regardless of how it sells, the Wii U needs more multiplats.
Personally i wouldn't mind delving in to this, as long as the gamepad features are good. For example RE: Revelations on Wii U will have off TV play, and touch screen functionality just like the 3ds version, and that's another Wii U version of a multiplat i plan on buying.
Can't speak for other Wii U owners though.
The average gamer on this site knows where to get an external Hard Drive for cheap, so i don't see the problem. And before anyone says anything about the casuals, what casual player is worried about downloading Lego City or any game in the first place when the VAST majority of them would buy them physically?
I wonder how many of these dudes will even read the article. lol
This would be a great way for those who haven't played the original to play it.
I mean, it's on PSN for like 20 bucks i think so i see no reason why not.
Nintendo really need to make an effort to get third parties on board.
Let's see how the year turns out for them.
Yeah, I've gotten that same answer from "Rational" players who like the series.
And I totally get it as a game that you play with your friends. Whenever some old friends of mine get together after a while from hanging out, the first thing we do is Pop in Smash Bros. and play 'till 3 A.M. lol.
Personally however, When it comes to shooters, the COD series hasn't Broken any boundaries for me. I still think CoD 4 is the best one, but the ne...
For those who keep buying these games every year, I have a question: What is it about these games that get you to purchase them every year?
In my experiences with the recent titles, in terms of gameplay mechanics, content, etc, there hasn't been anything truly game changing or spectacular about these iterations that set them apart from one another, other than Zombies in WaW.
I'm seriously curios about this.
I wonder how much longer these games will sell before the franchise fatigue kicks in.
interesting. Kinda wanna see how someone can use this to tackle survival horror.
