I've seen a few of his interviews, and he never cracks a joke. He is all business. I don't think he would ever say "fatty".
Tiny blurry images that look like they came from previous NGs.
It looks impressive. Of course, it's just a screenshot, but it gives us hope that it might be good.
FF1 was released in 1987. It has not fundamentally changed since then. This is true of most Japanese companies. They continue to make the ancient turn-based, random battle, stuff. An "innovation" for a Japanese company is the ability to see the enemy and run around it instead of being forced to fight it. But you still have to fight it, because you need to "grind" in order to level up. Another innovation is the ability to "control the camera".
I have played about 20 minutes of Uncharted 2 at my cousin's house. In that 20 minutes, I saw nothing that was fundamentally different than anything on 360. The textures were not perfect, either.
I'm only saying this because many people keep beating the drum that UC2 is the second coming of video games. I want to see a tangible comparison to demonstrate the differences.
Perhaps Gears vs UC2? Or, whatever is considered the best 360 game vs UC2.
MS has a huge hill to climb if Natal is to succeed with developers. We've seen nothing but failure from any previous attempts to add devices to existing consoles.
What must happen is a new market must be born. The "Natal" market. Natal must sell in huge numbers, like the Wii for developers to support it.
I think it will be the next UNO for XBLA.
That "wave" in the grill does not look intentional. If they wanted to express a wave in the design, they would put it on the front.
I liked it a little more than Bioshock 1. Splinter Cell Conviction was very good, but it did change direction from previous Splinter Cells.
Why would everyone assume it's a AAA title when his last title was Calling All Cars?
It's obvious that Jaffe is not a hard working AAA developer. He's a John Romero. He takes credit for a game that fell on his lap. The team does all the work while he schmoozes the media. The team gets sick of hearing his voice and then tells him to take a hike.
There's no "work" in "Eat Sleep Play". (But, we know that he's mean to his e...
It is fundamentally the same as the Dragon's Lair arcade from 1983. The video game journalists really failed in praising it. 'Fess-up guys. It can hardly be called a video game. It could have been desgined as an interactive DVD.
The problem with this rumor is that there have been no leaks whatsoever. In past "slims", there were always leaked pics. But, it seems that it is time for a slim 360 since it is 5 years after launch.
The PS1 and PS2 were the defacto standard for developers. Sony got used to DMC, MGS, FF, etc as exclusive. Sony fans thought that those were "Sony games" until MS came into the fold and competed on the same level.
Bioware is looking at Gears, Halo and Call of Duty and making changes to Mass Effect in order to increase sales. They're trying to make FPS players happy, but keep some RPG elements. It almost works, but not quite. But, I like Mass Effect regardless.
Gamespot wasn't in a delusional frenzy about KZ3. If they really cared about KZ3, they would have re-done the poll to include KZ3. Isn't it obvious?
You're right that it must be done without glasses. We've already had this experience in the 50s. The glasses are dorky.
"No comment" is "no reponse". This is not news.
He was just joking.
Now your having orgasms over a man that made a QTE adventure without puzzles. And...no, this is not a good joke regarding "rain".
