The whole point of PS Plus is be obscure. They are offering nothing new. You get demos? You get discounts after paying? You get "early" betas? You get background firmware updates?
You're just supposed to give Sony $50 bucks, no questions asked.

Most of the time they are pushing Sony products. Occasionally they push Nintendo products. But, I have never seen them prefer Xbox at all.
