good opinion, not sure why you got disagrees because all you said was pretty much spot on.
one thing that bugs me is that people are coming out saying "yeah it's disappointing but at least Mario, Zelda etc. will be great" this was the console that was supposed to deliver massive 3rd party support, that's one reason why it was so hyped after being revealed. I really wanted a good, stronger alternative to my PS3, I stand very disappointed.
Nintendo are clearly doing their own thing or "in their own generation" so this 5 year generation thing doesn't really apply to them

weren't you around for the first BLOPS? everyone LOATHED that game from day one. I got the game 6 months later and thought the MP was amzing though.
same with MW3, from day one everyone hated the fact that it looked exactly like MW2, like there was nothing on that game that constituted a new disk, IW could've just threw all of it on as DLC. it deserved all those 0 scores on Metacritic.

as a PS3 onwer I would sure love Forza on my PS3. if I had the spare cash I would buy a 360 just for Forza. no need for Microsoft to rest the franchise, they just have to ease the constant stream of new Forzas that are released. maybe it's a bit fatigued, but a new console holds opportunity for a fresh start and new possibilities.
