am I the only person who keeps getting "Bloodborne" and "BloodRayne" mixed up? I keep calling "Bloodborne" "BloodRayne" :(
apart from TGS there's still Gamescom and perhaps GDC. they always have some nice stuff at Gamescom (that of course will be for Western audiences)
I do agree though that Sony have been neglecting Vita lately.
Sony usually give the Vita its limelight at TGS & Gamescom.
Sony didn't show a ton of stuff in general especially the stuff they announced last year so I'm pretty sure we'll see a lot more at Gamescom & TGS. maybe something at GDC as well
exactly! I've been around the web and it seems as though N4G is the only place where people are disappointed with Sony's conference. not quite sure where it's coming from?
Sony's conference was very solid. people are judging it by the "boring bits in the middle"
pretty sure they'll be at Gamescom along with Sony London.
people need to seperate the production of the conference with the content in the conference.
as a spectacle Microsoft's E3 was miles better than Sony's. it was clean and to the point. the format was great, game after game after game and Phil Spencer is a fabulous speaker. they showed some really incredible 3rd party games as well, and the Chief Collection is the first killer app for X1. Microsoft's problem was content. of the 3 exclusives they announced none had a...
"slight hardware advantage"
what's the difference?
they are the best 3rd party publisher/dev, period.
Rockstar release a game every 2/3 years which is nothing worthy of best in the industry status, no matter how good that solitary game is.
the way Phil Spencer was going on we were all expecting the second coming. he and the Microsoft fan club made us believe megaton bombs were coming.
and of the exclusives we saw there was nothing mind blowing & no gameplay I mean just take a look at the Ubisoft conference, some incredible stuff being shown there... I guess the word I'm looking for is ambition. there is nothing particularly "ambitious" being made exclusively for X1 atm
but yes it was ...
how does "PC" lose E3 LOL where is the "PC" conference? this comment made me giggle
you were hyping this conference up for weeks and it didn't live up to the hype. how do you feel?
literally ONE game was delayed to 2015...... The Order and that's it.....
Phil Spencer definitely (and the hardcore Xbox fans) overhyped it. he should have just emphasised the point of this E3 conference being a starting block for Microsoft after last year's horror show, rather than making it seem like the E3 to end all E3s.
if you look at it from that standpoint it was good.
too many multiplats and timed exclusive content for me to be wildly impressed. I'd give it an 8.5/10, all in all a very good conference
the Halo Collection, Evolve and Rise of the Tomb Raider were stand outs for me. but a very good conference from Microsoft in general, nothing mind blowing, maybe the Chief collection but after last year's farce very good
also forgot to mention Assassin's Creed Unity set in the friggin French Revolution! oh yes finally thank you Ubisoft!
i know right!
Unity has four-player co-op
the Assassin's Creed I've always dreamed of playing: set during the French Revolution! yes!
how does the tech demo art style make it a Skyrim clone? what the actual fudge?
