Ironically, maybe it's actually to Canadians' benefit of being subject to delayed receipt (read: "thick, hard, unlubed shafting") of this game till no sooner than December 17th.
Either they'll have the kinks worked out by then...or they'll decide to send all the defective hardware up here. ;)
Just hurry up already; how dare they deprive me of my Christmas present!
Amazing!
However, of notable absence:
-CN Tower/Skydome (oops: "Rogers Centre"...sheesh)
-Harbourfront/Lakeshore
-The myriad of TTC employees lounging around and getting paid for doing absolutely nothing. :P
Otherwise, this is just awesome!...now how can I implement this into my current PC version of HL2???
It would be financial suicide if they did so for all their games.
Given the insane development costs for this generation's titles, companies want to spread their products as far reaching as possible to recoup as much expense (and profit, of course) as possible.
And rightly so...I just wish they did so without trying to take so many shortcuts that the eventual result affects the quality of the original game. I refuse to be the one to suffer and pay for their lack...
It seems like only yesterday when EA was a great, groundbreaking company.
They've had their heads up their arses for quite some time now...that's what happens when you get too big, I'm afraid. It's hard to believe that I used to actually get excited about their announcement of new titles.
Although I'm not actively boycotting Orange Box, I will be refusing to get it by default, as a result of all this news of more shoddy PS3 sloppy-seconds. Who wants to spend de...
Duly noted.
OK then...I take full responsibility...
It was completely my fault for getting a taste of glorious CoD4 BEFORE trying Gears.
(There's another game for my dust pile.) ;)
it would be now...at least from a financial perspective.
Man, high end custom-built PC's are so dirt cheap right now, virtually anyone can have a semi-decent game rig without breaking the bank.
Add to that concoction, Nvidia's recent offering, the kick-ass GeForce 8800GT for a mere additional $250, and you've got yourself a truly kick-ass gaming box for many years to come.
And you don't need to be a techie to enjoy PC gaming like years past; OS's h...
And just implement DX10 into XP, so that I can uninstall this molasses of an OS otherwise known as Vista, and revert back to it's reliable predecessor.
Jesus Christ, Vista's got more issues than Lindsey Lohan.
And that's a lot.
(Damn, I KNEW I should have set up dual boot.)
"its in TRUE 1080p HD actually....
.... on my PC....."
Heh heh, precisely what I was thinking while skimming through this futile pissing contest of comments...
Man, once you've seen and played this game at glorious, true 1680x1050, you'll have to manually roll your tongue back up into your mouth, and tie a bungie cord around your head to keep your jaw from continuously dropping.
On a somewhat unrelated sidenote: I picked up the PC...
I sit here and scratch my head as I ponder why you don't have more bubbles.
here's at least my contribution for your splendid, no-bull comment.
Keep it up.
Over the year, they've earned my utmost respect, as they compliment the PS3 and harness it's power so incredibly well...So well, that it's surprising to think that they're actually an independent studio.
If I could point out the PS3's most saving grace which has helped repel some of the flack it`s received over the launch year, it would has to be Insomniac and it`s release title, Resistance (not withstanding the more recent razzle-dazzle jaw-dropper otherwise referred to as R&a...
or does GH come across as A LOT harder???
Judging by the video, RB at gives me some hope on recuperating a portion of the chunk of esteem GH has brutally torn out of me as a result of my left-handed suckiness. ;)
Lying so would only be playing with fire for the near future.
Such a large company so reliant upon investor support, wouldn`t likely intentionally make such a self-destructive move.
Benign curiosity: What's the root of your undying, consistent anger towards all objects and lifeforms?
Normally, I wouldn't ask nor care, but I can't help but inquire. Because, contrary to the rest of the overwhelming and ever-increasing unsubstantiated blabber on this site, I can't help but sense that you acquire a hefty asset useful common sense underneath all that, uh...Rage.
I've got a low tolerance level for stupidity as much as the next level-headed guy, ...
Kalamazoo...ah, good times, good times, indeed!
Well, not that I've actually BEEN there:
During high school, me and three buddies decided to take a day off a la Ferris Bueller. So we randomly chose a relatively close place on the map that sounded the most interesting, and Kalamazoo was it.
For reasons I can`t recall, the closest we got to Kalamazoo was Toledo, Ohio:
US: "Hi, we're from Toronto...what's there to do here in Toled...
So THAT explains all my unsynched strums, missed chords, and jumbled fret sequences...
Oh, wait...Sorry, that's just me.
Dammit...my controller is actually rock-solid and spot-on (to my dismay!)

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial for Atari 2600.
Likely the Granddaddy of awful movie-to-game adaptations.
he's a prominent member of this website.
;)
I wish they'd add the option to filter out Conversion from ranked games.
I friggin' hate Conversion.
But maybe that's just me. ;)
The ignorance you mindlessly spew does nothing more than give your fellow Americans a bad name, thereby further contributing to the negative stereotype consensus the rest of the world currently perceives of the USA.
Smarten up.
