And I've heard Stig Asmussen (God of War III director) is still working at the studio but not on God of War: Ascension... So what exactly is he working on? I'd bet on a new IP for the PS4 considering SSM has grown significantly as of late but it could just as well be for the PS3. Hopefully the don't waste their talent on the Vita, I'd rather they solely made home console games.

Not true at all. The Jak and Daxter games didn't sell so well and the first Uncharted didn't sell so well either, it's only when Uncharted 2 & 3 came out and Sony started mass bundling and greatly advertised the games did the games appear to be popular. Without Sony's help UC games would sell no more than a 3-4 million each, still good numbers though.

Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid: 4 and LittleBigPlanet have all sold over 5 million. Sure UC2 and LBP needed mass bundling to get there but at least they made it. Sony exclusives do sell very well.

By the time God of War: Ascension comes out it will be 3 years since God of War III, that's far too long for me to wait for a new GoW game so any chance I get to play the game early I will take it!

And did you know Sony Santa Monica are helping out with the development of The Last Guardian? That should ensure that its release isn't too far away, next year is fairly likely I'd say. We'll just have to hope the development hell the game has gone through hasn't effected its quality.

God of War is my favourite franchise ever and is the only reason I'll ever own a Sony console, all the other great exclusives are just welcomed bonuses.
