Why would they release a vanilla campaign, and not follow up with more content building around that base. Yes, it didn't sell well...because you released an incomplete game. I don't get this self defeating mentality of immediately abandoning an ip if it doesn't sell out of the gate. If you have a ten year plan then part of the plan should be building those sales out of the the new content.
The game has a real charm to it. A little more polish overall, especially with the voice acting and enemy a.i and it could be a truly AAA experience.
For you, maybe. Not where I'm from.
I count around thirteen people here who've never played the game. I will definitely concede, however, that it should have never released as a full priced game. There's just not enough "game " to justify the price.
Good. The game is unique, heartfelt, and beautiful. Yes, the mechanics are rather simplistic. But the teams dedication to storytelling is on full display. It's definitely not for everyone, but it won't disappoint those who appreciate video games that push the boundaries of the medium.
They don't need another MK game. They need to get Injustice 3 out ASAP.
Does it still not come with a disc drive? The idea of a "pro" model is that it has added features, not less than the base model. I can admit that I'm weak enough when it comes to new tech that I would have bought one by now, against my better judgment. But since, like most gamers, I need something to actually play my games on, it was a hard pass.
It used to be that cross gen versions were free to those who already purchased the game.
Two million in sales for a new IP is pretty impressive. The world-building was in a class on its own. Any moron could see this IP had mad potential and the fact that Sony balked on it makes one question their competence and leadership.
So what they mean is its really a remaster of game barely a year old, but they know that term is poison right now with gamers. Instead, it's a refresh.
So I'm guessing if you paid premium dollars for that PS5 Pro bad boy, it is now a brick. This outage may be a good thing for gamers as it reminds everyone of the consequences of an all digital console that Sony is desperate for consumers to embrace.
Name me a publisher whose intention is not to make a billion dollars from their IP. The intention should be to make a good game and then find ways to milk it out of legitimacy.
That's because after you play it for a few hours you realize there's not much to it. And the stealth segments don't fit the engine or style of this game. Just clunky gameplay and a weak story masked by a sprawling and empty map.
It needed a remake. Remasters, generally feel like a cash grab when it's priced this way. I don't mind paying full price for remakes. This ain't it.
He might be biased...
You say it like the rest of the world should just accept it. I'm not going to play a game that reliquishes it's autonomy over the whims of a wannabe tinpot dictator.
Also, their consoles are spying on you with a device called the "Ckinect."
They should have stuck to their cycle of an Injustice game and a MK game. Two of them in a row was too soon. No one wanted it.
I'm honestly really enjoying the game. Most of the criticisms it received from "influencers" are simply untrue. The vistas and music score are top notch. You know when a game has been in development for eight years and when it comes out you're like, what have they been doing all this time? Yeah, this game doesn't have that problem. Everything is polished. Lots of replayability with classes, skill trees, and decisions.
The game is a clunky pos that somehow plays worse than previous AC games. That's two million that wasted their money. I actually enjoyed Star Wars Outlaws, so you could say I have a low bar. Play Ghost of Tsushima and save your money.
