It should be.
I think this is Sony's most difficult challenge in PS4 era.
New IP, comeback developer, single player, zombies, bikes,,,, to me this is impossible odds.
You should be surprised and show great respect to Sony's handling of game production, if the game becomes a hit.
This is not an easy game to make and sell.
I seriously doubt about those journalist's intellectual level.
What people with disability are saying is 'accessibility' not an easy mode.
They are OK with very challenging games. They just cannot move thumbs to hit buttons on the controller, so want developer to consider alternative way to control games.
My understanding is that they would be happy to challenge Sekiro, if consoles allow them to operate button by foot, for example. That is 'accessibi...
Kind of sad to see how manipulative people are.
You endorse EPIC store, then soon will live in world of pre-2000 PC gaming.
Strength of PC gaming is 'community', and Valve is first company invested on PC gaming community to establish uniqueness of the store as a gaming platform. Their decision to bring PC gaming community to front seat of marketing changed PC game forever. Today, every console platform holders are following the same strategy, but ...
You are missing whole point of the backlash.
If we are quiet about EPIC's anti-competitive practice, Valve, or other stores, eventually would also need to pay to rich publisher's executive to secure exclusivity. That's not what we want to see.
Remember, Valve is a very rich company as well.
We, including actual developers, will not get any benefit form this type of business practice.
What a shame. EPIC store is a typical case of anti-competitive practice in business strategy.
First, EPIC never paid money to add a value to the product. Their money is to remove a customer's choice. So existence of EPIC store will not contribute anything to customer satisfaction. EPIC store is inferior in comparison to Steam. If they charge 12% less to customer to compensate the inferior service, I'd accept this as a fair customer service. But they charge the same...
What the hell is this guy talking about?
Sekiro and all Souls games are totally beatable to anyone who devote enough effort on thinking and researching. If those games are bricked by inescapable levels of skill challenges, no one would have given Souls name to the genre.
There is always another way to beat enemies. You just need to think and find it. That is the point of the game.
Early difficulty of Souls game serves as training wheels for it.
...
Angry Joe summarized the skepticism well.
This looks like a combination of Ride to Hell with World War Z. Two of the worst game and movie ever made in his (and my) opinion.
I'd really, seriously really, believe Sony's magical power, if they pull out a good game out of it.
I like what Sony has been doing. But I have not yet confirmed existence of their ultra magical divine power of game production.
Should this game success, I will be one wh...
Money is only language this lazy developer understands.
Do not believe anything about their future plan. Do not buy anything from BioWare.
It's interesting to read. I thought Persona was the one of worst entry point for JRPG beginners.
It's a great series for me. But,,, it's so Japanese and filled with their high school culture references and meme, making it very hard to recommend anyone who is expecting something like Final Fantasy experience.
If you like P5 and want to play another similar RPG, I would recommend Atelier series.
Atelier series is another deep JRPG that I never h...
Astro Bot has changed my attitude toward VR gaming. I still think the technology is full two generations earlier for the prime time though, programming and designing of VR game have been improved tremendously in short time. I have faith on Sony's handling on VR gaming. They are making some magical strides on VR game design.
If you are PC only gamer, and doubt about my opinion. Just play Astro Bot. You don't know shit about VR gaming till then.
It became a good game, but completely missed the marketing opportunity when it was released as a half-finished GaaS product.
A hard lesson for PlayStation, however it was fortunate that it had happened years before the GaaS shit storm became mainstream. Sony stopped investing on GaaS after this failure, which allowed them to establish unique position in today's game industry as a savior of single player game. The later success of PS4 couldn't have been done without ...
Nothing is better than stop pre-ordering GaaS by yourself.
It's another proof that money is only language they can understand.
We have to speak their language. If you drop any money on their game, they will interpret it as an endorsement of acts. We really really have to be careful not to use any money on Bethesda products, if we want a better game from them.
It's hard to believe that so-called journalist in gaming industry doesn't know classic 'gamer vs. developer' concept.
Modern iteration of this concept was one of many reasons that Demon's Souls was praised by retro gamer. The unique online system was obviously designed to unite players against the developer's challenges. We had a fun beating FromSoftware, together.
I think this is still the heart of Souls series. We want to beat FromSoftwa...
Ugh, that's not true.
Japanese GaaS markets, especially on mobile, are unbelievably insidious, to be honest. One time it was so bad that the game industry needed to set self-censoring committee to avoid public criticisms and government involvements. So, today, the most of Japanese GaaS disclose % tables of rootbox.
The point is, that some level of welcoming environment for EA's gamble business exists in Japan. However, the GaaS market is extremely competiti...
The Surge is exactly the kind of game PS Plus should offer as Free Games.
It's not a AAA title casual gamer is looking for, but a very good game everyone has to have an opportunity to try.
But EPIC is filled with crappy employees and Crappier CEO.
This is the game I have been hoping to see on PC.
I believe The Show is one of the best sports games franchise out there. Since all other sports franchise became online casino, the release of this honest franchise on PC will give a shock to PC gamer.
Long term investment is important. The Show on PC wouldn't increase sales of PS4. But sports game fans who pick up The Show on PC would become PlayStation fans, and buy PS5 as a token of trust.
Yeah, it will work.
It's a replacement of a left stick, in basic.
A right stick is already assigned to your head, so you don't need hands to move around.
Most of current VR games are better playing using a conventional game pad due to the problem with first person maneuver in 3D world. It often makes a VR world dull to stay in, because your hands are tied to one position to execute every motion by your fingers.
Finger inputs, essential to...
