Yeah. We see this is coming after massive critical and commercial success of Spider-man. If you want to make decent movie franchise game, Sony WWS is the best place to rely on.
What a cool way to secure exclusive game !
I don't know if Sony has calculated all of this.
Don't bother.
At 80% of completion, following decisions will be made;
1. Cut the game into multiple pieces, and sell them as DLC.
2. Remove menu contents, and packed to loot boxes.
It's EA.
I agree. But, but this will be a rare case that film maker should stay away from the game creator.
Unless they intend to make next Game of Thrones.
Just learn history of Microsoft Corporation. I am shocked that people don't know what kind of company Microsoft has been, actually.
This company is not just 'the king of anti-competitive practice', they are almost synonym to 'monopoly'.
You never heard about "Embrace, Extend, and Extinguish" ? Really?
Of course, Microsoft is the king of anti-competitive practice.
EPIC must feel closer in these days.
Yep.
DO NOT PRE-ORDER THIS GAME. IF YOU WANT TO GET WHAT THEY HAVE PROMISED.
As soon as EA and Respsawn see pre-order number, they will chop the game into half, and sell the other half as day-one DLC at $30. I can guarantee it will happen, if you promised them the purchase at any point.
So, buy it in December.
Remember, your pre-order will destroy the game.
Well.... UBI, Microsoft, Bethesda, and Square-Enix.........
They are known for over-promised announcements, in other words, shameless lies.
It's not coincident that they share the similar history of failing credibility as s result of false E3 presentation.
Only people with some kind of brain dysfunction that made them impossible to hold memory longer than 11 months will be "hyped" for their presentations, then will spend rest of the year comp...
Yeah. PC gaming is losing the best part.
So-called game critics went wrong with it, not the game.
I finally picked it up, and have finished main story so far. I cannot understand why even fans are so shy about praising this game.
Personally, the laughably non-sense attacks on the story element reminds me of critic reactions to movie Starship Troopers in 1997. For teenager's mind at that time, the movie was the greatest and the funniest anti-war movie, and the smartest political satire to the US in 199...
The success story is a slap on Microsoft face who, somehow, became a leading advocate of "console gaming is dead" argument. Of course, Microsoft wants entire game industry to die. It's their corporate strategy for every business field.
Do you know the biggest difference in Sony's marketing during PS4 era?
They are not behaving like an electronics company. PS4 has never been advertised as an multi-media device, nor even focused on any oth...
They'd have to pay me to download MGS.
Totally non-sense logic.
EPIC store adds NOTHING to games and charging 12% to publishers. That's not a bargain for them, and just stealing from customer, since they are charging the same price to us. Steam, on the other hand, adds a lot of features to games on the store, and charging the cost to publishers, not to us.
EPIC is inviting Steam to anti-competitive practice.
Are you happy, if Steam cut all of their store service and give extra ...
They make 5 spin-offs on every main Persona game. It's probably good for Nintendo fanboy's second-class citizen mentality, though. I don't like what they are doing, and even feel bad for Nintendo fanboys.
Just play P5 on PS4. Those spin-offs mean nothing if you haven't played the main game.
Who would have thought DOA6 would be dethroned within a month?
Spider-man was my favorite game of 2019. It's an open world game with very good story. In deed, the story was so good that it made me watch all Spider-man movies again after I beat the game, in order to re-assure that it was the best Spider-man story I've ever experienced.
I am glad to know that Days Gone could fill my hunger for another goddamn great moving story.
The start of the game was a huge marketing stunt. Obviously, it could continue just as long as EA's PR money lasts.
Why are people even surprised about the sharp decline of number?
What has remained is really important number to EA. They are real fans.
EA's biggest problem is that they often call them "disappointing number" and "below expectation", then do not invest on expansion of the real fans base. Apex Legends is no excep...
If the second-class citizen treatment and lazy ports from PS4 are what Nintendo fanboys want, I have no reason to throw harsh words to them. It is also convenient state of mind for Square-Enix and all other third-parties who used to deal with tough decision on priority of Nintendo hardware.
This article mixed two separate things and made up imaginary 'concern' that anti-Sony people would want hear.
Censorship in Japan has nothing to do with Sony. Censorship (mainly in USA) by Sony is all about Japanese games.
Those are different things. It is somewhat relevant to my life, so hear me out. I can put different respective of the problem to you.
You probably know recent article from Kotaku which is accusing use of English slur in Persona 5...
If you can afford day one DLC.
Don't spend time and money on PR.
Because no one pre-order this game.
Let me tell you two important things about this scum article.
ONE: 40,980 yen is about $399, NOT $499. Check it by yourself.
TWO: Yasuda is a laughing stock in Japan. No one takes his prediction seriously, especially about Sony. Also, check his records by yourself.
I should have posted this 6 hours ago.
You wasted your time.
