BAD company's SAD mistake.
Meanwhile, SAD-XBOX gave away another head start to Playstation, before actual race starts.
Microsoft will never learn from own mistake.
The franchise has been peaked out. Plus Sony does not like to rely on old IPs.
Moreover, Insomniac came back with a bang with Spider-man last year.
I'd rather want to play Spider-man 2, too.
It's OK to put the franchise a rest until everybody in Sony run out of any new idea.
$399 for sure.
First $399 success was gamble. PS4 made them realize the sweet spot of console marketing.
Following two $399 products were clearly by design. They cut certain features of PS4-Pro and PSVR to fit them into the target price range.
I have no reason to believe Sony would miscalculate their console customer base for PS5.
So, they will design PS5 to fit $399.
Only fool pre-order this game.
If you want the game to be good one, don't pre-order it.
As soon as EA sees pre-order, they will cut contents from the product, and then put it back as $30 day one DLC.
I think EA will re-name their root box to Mini-Transaction, and pay-to-win to Single-Player by this fall.
Only fool will pre-order this game, seriously.
I thought it was interview article.
Why would we care about Gamingbolt's suggestion? Play games from other developers, Gamingbolt.
Yeah?
If everything EA said is true, and the game is good, we would buy this one on December 15th, not November.
So, don't waste any money on promotions, use it for actual game production.
Nintendo is doing it on purpose.
Being conservative for few years maybe just an old, for decades can be a retro, for centuries will become a classic, and for thousand years makes it a national treasure.
They are Japanese company born and grew up in Kyoto, where people can make legitimate arguments about benefits of conservatism.
Typical paid article written by ignorant author.
It is common knowledge that type of business practice which EPIC is employing is called an anti-competitive practice in modern free market.
Next time EPIC should pay to journalist having better knowledge in basic modern economics.
In case you wonder, just Google 'anti-competitive practices'. You will be surprised how well this term fit to EPIC store, and know how to criticize EPIC properly.
I don't think so. There are so many ways to do business outside of hard core gaming.
It is no different from music or film industries. If money is only thing they care, companies can do many nasty things to collect it from the mass audience. Sadly, Star Wars is an ideal IP to do such a thing.
EA has no interest in selling SW games to core gamer, which makes it ideal partner to Disney.
Yeah. So every single lightsaber will be day one DLC.
I admire your optimism, though. That is how EA has been conducting the business. They, technically, don't lie. They just find a way to exploit our expectation, always.
Lara in this trilogy is a very poorly written character. Game play mechanics should be praised, but pretty much everything associated to her character developments are the worst aspect of the trilogy.
Lara Croft used be treated as just boobs. The developer wanted to add something to her personality for the new trilogy, and failed.
She is still just boobs. The only difference is that the developer is believing they had accomplished something on her character.
I rather am surprised to know that Remedy is making 'a spiritual successor' of the spectacularly failed Quantum Break. They'd better prepare something greater than add-on exclusive for PS4 community, if they don't want be laughed. PS4 is the toughest place for a mediocre third person adventure game to standout.
Do not buy this game until one month after the launch day. no matter what.
We have to do one right thing, for us.
If we never learn from our mistake, how you would expect EA to learn from theirs.
That is exactly the same kind of comment DICE made for Battlefront II.
They promised a single player mode and no DLC. So we had the game filled with micro-transactions.
This time, we will have tons of day one DLC, instead.
Money is only language they understand. Do not forget it.
Let EA does what has made EA the EA.
One less lazy incompetent developer in this world.
I usually don't like to talk about metascore things, however. This is surly a fun game to talk about reactions of game critics. In other words, Sony's marketing genius already accomplished their mission, again!
Wireless and 8K (4K for each) display are two necessary technical components on VR hardware for the prime time.
I don't think next-gen PSVR can accomplish both of them. And if I pick one, I'd prefer to have high resolution display over the wireless function.
Anyways, VR software development in Sony studio seems promising in these days. My guess is that we probably have one definitive VR control scheme and corresponding brand-new genre of games for PSVR2 gen...
I am beginning to realize that PS4's best year is yet to come.
